Great postpartum abdominal binder
After my second birth I felt like I could have used some sort of wrap or binder to help support my belly and back as my body returned to pre-pregnancy state. It is common in many cultures to bind the abdomen, but I wasn't sure what type of product to get and most that I found with google were expensive and didn't look comfortable, so I just did without. At the end of my third pregnancy I did a lot of reading and research and decided the best choice for the money would be a surgical abdominal binder and I was not at all disappointed. I remember reading somewhere to choose the size by measuring your belly at 28 weeks, which I did and that seemed to work. But if you were not able to measure ahead of time you will be happy to know that if you get something too big it should be fine since the velcro will attach all the way around the binder. I was so pleased to have the support postpartum and I think it helped get every thing back to normal faster. I put it on and off all day long wearing it as much as it felt comfortable especially when sitting up and moving around. I think I only needed it for a couple weeks, but I am still glad I had it. I am 5'8" and this was a good fit, I think if you are shorter this might be too long (unless you have a long torso, mine is probably average for my height). I think you could easily cut it to be shorter as well. If I were ever pregnant again I would get this in a heart beat. Good luck. Oh, I am also a nurse and this would work for recovery after any abdominal surgery including liposuction/cosmetic surgeries.

Not worth the money.
Where to start, I had a tumor removed from my abdomen and was told I would need to wear a binder for 1 month. In the hopes of finding something more comfortable then the standard one put on me at the hospital I ordered this. The velcro is strong and does its job. It puts a good amount of stability and pressure on the wound area when it stays in place, so 2 stars instead of 1. The section the velcro attaches too is rigid and uncomfortable. It does not move with the body. If I could stand still all day from the moment I wake up it'd be comfortable but walking, sitting, bending, anything really and its moving up one way, down in another, shifting or rolling- and yes I purchased a size appropriate to my body based on my measurements and the chart on the site. Still, I already tossed the one the hospital gave me so I dont have much in the way of options at the moment and now about 2 weeks after I started wearing it, its coming apart (see photo). For the money it cost I'd expect better material and more comfort.

Not comfortable at all
I purchased this binder for post op tummy tuck surgery. Initially it felt more secure than the binder my doctor gave me. However, after about a week I began to feel how uncomfortable and stiff the material was. It was too large for my torso and cut into my skin under my breasts. The hard material wrinkled and caused a lot of discomfort and it was impossible to secure the binder straight across the abdomen like it shows in the picture. I have never written a review but I paid a lot of money for this binder and it is so not worth it. Keep looking. Don’t waste your money. I gave it two stars instead of one because it gave me the support I needed for about 3 days and then it was useless.

Breathable and comfortable. I ordered this after having an abdominal plasty
True to size. I ordered a size M in black. I'm 5'5" and weight 140 lbs. size 6. Breathable and comfortable. I ordered this after having an abdominal plasty. The one I received from the hospital became stretched and uncomfortable. This is not as long as the hospital ones but fits from upper rib cage to about 2" below belly button. I preferred something to go longer to help with swelling at my incision line. This was the best I found after searching and I'm pleased with the product. A little pricey but good quality. It hasn't lost its shape and the Velcro area hasn't become "pilly". I've been wearing this for over a months and it still looks like I just bought it. I gave four stars because of the length I was looking for and because of the price being slightly higher. But you get what you pay for and this is a good quality product

Breathable Material is a great idea!!
The dimension for the L size is: 34"-42" wide, and 12 1/4" height. It was made in USA. However, the closure is too flimsy and it is really hard to open it! Beside this, it is great to have breathable material for the support waist binder!

Binder
I have had 7 hernia surgeries, and I have an 8th. My doctor recommended an abdominal binder because he thought surgery was too risky this time. I really like this binder. It's the first one I've ever had, and, aside from the fact that you need an extra pair of hands to make sure it's on nice & tight, it's very comfortable and not at all visible under your clothing. You can walk and sit and do everything you need to during the day with it on. The only time I needed assistance was after I used the bathroom, to re-secure it. Overall, I think it's a very well-made product that I would definitely recommend and would buy another if the need arises.

Just my size
This binder doesn't compare to the one given to you in the hospital. I had a 15" incision down the middle of my abdomen and the binder that was given to me at the hospital was the largest they had and that was XL (but more like a small) and not to mention it was very tight and uncomfortable. I wear a 2X top and this binder worked perfect for me. A binder is a must after abdominal surgery. It takes some pain away in that you don't feel like your insides are falling out. The hospital even wanted to know where I purchased them, as I bought two. I think the price is very reasonable. This is also machine washable. I highly recommend this product.

Very disappointed, it does not give any support at all
Very disappointed, it does not give any support at all, yes breathable but not elastic, the material is too thin to give any support.
