Actually fits standard quick change bit holders

Irwin has the only design I have found for double ended bits that actually fit standard quick change holders. Others are too long and will not lock in.

Haven't seen these around. I usually use Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt, etc high end impact bits & am pretty happy with those brands as a rule. But these Impact Power series Irwins I'd have to rate even HIgher. Was surprised. Everybody has their personal tastes in tools. But these Irwin's are right up there in quality & definitely have a more convenient selection. With this set I can get the right selection I need without buying extra bits I don't need. These bits save me money going in PLUS their top quality last longer /saves me more money over time. Nice. These are very tough bits with great engineering features. They grip & hold on. I like that. And I like the selection of sizes,... PH1, PH2, PH3. Each bit has the same size on each end, so with these doubles I've always got a back up. No nonsense black oxide finish. These doubles are a little longer than single tip bits & I like that feature, too. A little more visual working room away from the chuck. The blue & shiny chrome looking rings in the middle help me visually locate these bit quickly in the tool bags. Fits like a glove in my 18v Bosch impact driver. Also fits into all my corded, 18v, 14v Bosch, Milwaukee & my non-impact screw & driver 1/4 inch quick connect drives. They fit everything....impact & non-impact drives. Clicks-in easily & release easily, No binding. Great craftsmanship. First class engineering. Ordered a second set. BOTTOM LINE: CAn't find any negatives with these double end bits. Will update if I do. Can't go wrong with these Impact Series Phillips heads. Durable powerful double end bits drive like the devil,...& fit the chuck or 1/4 inch drive like a glove. Throw anything you want at these bits. Highly recommend. EASILY EARNS **** 5-STARS *****.

Convenient and efficient

Its great having each bit have 2 separate heads on it. Especially for drills/drivers with a single bit clip. This way you don't have to fumble around in your pocket or tool box to find the other bits. I wish there was a broader combination available so that you could customize your own 6 bits. As it stands there are several of these bits I will likely never use, but I still bout this kit since there were a few of them that will make my life way more efficient.

Phillips or flathead or both!

Perfect for what I needed it for. I use this with my Milwaukee 12v screwdriver which has a hex style quick release collar. Having the phillips and flat head on one bit is super convenient in my profession. I don’t use it for high torque situations so I haven’t pushed it far in that sense. Just a convenient bit to have. Also came with a magnetic sleeve that you can slip over the bit and it’ll help keep screws in place for one handed motions. I didn’t find many options out there so Irwin found a nice niche here.

Convenient

Awesom product. This set is great for throwing in a small toolbag or taking minimal items. I don't even grab my larger cases anymore, this is all I need. The reversible sides really add convenience if you're not sure what size the bit is.

Pretty handy little kit (UPDATED)

Pretty handy little kit. Only concern is that it seemed to bind and get stuck in my impact driver. I just tightened the vice on the bit and cranked it in reverse and then it was able to come out. Should work fine in a drill. After having them for several months I found out why they get stuck. They aren't truly 1/4" they are slightly smaller which allows them to bind inside the 1/4" quick release chuck. That being said I have taken to carrying one of the t25/ph2 bits inside my leatherman case while I am working.

Great handy bits to carry with your impact driver

Really handy impact bits! I've been looking for bits like this for years ever since my impact driver became my most-used tool. It only makes sense to have them double ended with the 2 most common bits you need. A lot of the bits like this have the same type of bit on both sides? Not really sure what the point of that is. Fits GREAT in my Makita impact, both in the chuck and in the side bit holder. These bits do not work well in magnetic or "quick lock" extensions, so be aware of that. The magnetic holder that comes with the bits works great also.

Disappointed by choice of driver bit styles

Good quality, durable. But would not buy again. I expected that the double end combination style would be useful. But the combinations on each bit and the multiples of the same driver head make them useful only as single driver bits.

Great set, durable and the bit sizes are well chosen

These are a great set of bits. They are very durable, and the chosen sizes will handle 90% of your jobs. I bought them to replace the one that came with my Ryobi cordless drill after I ruined it. They fit well in the bit holder of my drill. The magnetic holder is what I would consider clumsy, why not magnetize the bits themselves? It is just a hassle to keep track of it.

Not rounding out easily from slippage

Bits are holding up well so far. Not rounding out easily from slippage. Haven't used the magnet but it's strong. Really like the double ended impact ready ends, very convenient when you run into a Phillips
