Make sure you are within close range of Wifi
These work great, but when you are setting them up, make sure you have a wifi router close by to connect to, as they require a wifi connection to set up, and they take FOREVER to se up if you are on the edge of your wifi range. The cync app is pretty cool in setting up scenes and time on/time off schedules. They are extremely bright when turned all the way up. Right now with a mild light I am running about half throttle. Would highly recommend for someone who has flush mount lighting in a porch roof. Sub-zero temperatures do not seem to affect them either.

Frustrating setup, cool when they work
As others have mentioned setup can be quite a pain. A series of finding the right placement of the bulb and phone to make them complete setup. I eventually just setup all 8 bulbs in the one receptacle that I had success with and moved them to my desired location. I have a mesh network with excellent coverage over my entire home. But they are constantly showing they are unavailable and this affects the routine/scheduling abilities. Of my 8 bulbs, two will reliably turn on but almost never turn off at the assigned time. It’s frustrating because my whole purpose in getting the smart lights was to automate this process. They can be turned off in the app, but again that was not my intent when purchasing. I’m not going to return as I hope to figure out what is making them so finicky and hopefully will be addressed in future firmware updates. Edit: adding 2 more stars to my initial review. A firmware update in the past week has made the lights much more reliable. I believe it no longer requires the Bluetooth to piggyback off of other lights in the group.

Loses connection constantly
I bought these because they were the only outdoor, waterproof floodlights. They are constantly offline and disconnecting. When they work, they are fantastic, but they are always dropping wifi. Thankfully I have them on a timer so they go on when needed, that's not an issue, but if I want to put them on manually, I find them always offline. They eventually go back on, but this should be addressed in the next firmware update.

Most of the time they're great
I have lost the signal a few times with these. Not often, but had to uninstall/install again to get them to work again. Sometimes a little slow to "obey" on/off commands.

Fun color-changing light outside, great for halloween! And plenty bright.
Got this to replace an old LED flood light that was yellow and dim. This is nice and bright, and has near infinite color-changing capability. Hello, red lights on halloween or red white and blue on the 4th of July, or whatever you want. It does look a bit strange as it does not appear to have a true white LED but rather uses all the colors to simulate white, at least it looks like that is what it is doing. But I have been very happy with it as a double bulb set up over my garage lighting up the driveway. And the Alexa integration was very clean, although at times it loses track of its connection and I have to restart it through the cinq app. But that is a minor quibble really.

WiFi connection is poor, even with my Google Mesh with 4 connection points.
Something is wrong with these flood lights, or either that the Cync app is really poor. I have 7 floods outdoors, directly under the soffit eaves. Installation was tedious, but I managed to get through it and all 7 floods were connected and placed into a group successfully. When I launch the Cync app, it connects to maybe 4 of the 7 lights. Sometimes it gets 6, but hardly ever does it find and re-connect to all 7. This is sporadic too. Different bulbs will connect one time and not another. I have 4 Google WiFi points in a mesh network. One point is in my garage, maybe 25 feet from bulbs #1 thru #3. Front door flood #4 is 25 feet from the WiFi point in my family room. Flood #5 thru #7 is maybe 40 feet from a WiFi point. Looking at the signal location on each bulb CONSTANTLY changes from WiFi to Bluetooth to connecting to one of the other bulbs. This is disconcerting because this connection seems so unreliable. Also, each flood status on the app will end up in one of three states: (1) connected to WiFi and on/off toggle will be ON, (2) not connected and a red bang (!) icon is shown, whereby tapping the bulb status icon will state “disconnected”, and (3) the bulb on/off toggle is [stays] OFF, the brightness status bar is shifted to 0%, yet the bang (!) status icon is not shown for that bulb. All in all, they need work to resolve these issues, either through better bulb firmware and/or improving the quality of the GE Cync app.

Alexa has an issue when trying to change the colors.."I don't know how to do that"
I can only get them to work on white light, which is actually fine, but it would be cool if they changed colors.

Some quirks.
These lights have a few works and can sometimes be difficult to get all working together. But when I set a schedule and leave them alone they work alright. Occasionally one will stay on after the shutoff time.
