The product is not consistent

I’ve bought this from salons and there is a seal and more product. Something is very off about buying this with no seal on the product and looks like it is not filled. The quality has either dropped or Amazon is not getting the product my salon was getting. The paste is okay- but really it’s the smell that makes it a desirable product to use. Won’t be buying this again, you get more product in a sample.

I want a Pina Colada after using this!

This texture paste smells SOO good...just like a Pina Colada. Right when I wash my hair, the ends always seem to fray out a bit and stand on their own. This paste helps tame those ends and make them more cohesive with the rest of my hair. It doesn't take very much at all. I literally just rub my finger over the top of the product and just get a light coating on my fingers and work it through. Then repeat. After about 3-4 times, is enough to help with the fly aways. Just a little bit between the fingers as I work them into the ends. It also works well to tame some of the baby hair I have when I pull my hair back into a pony tail. Though this is called a "soft texture paste," it works similar to pomades I've used in the past with a little less hold. Review For: IGK BEACH CLUB Soft Texture Paste, 2 oz.

i like it but the jar is pretty small

i have long hair so i always have frizzy ends. it’s worse because i haven’t got it trimmed in over a year because of corona and i haven’t had a chance to find a stylist yet. this paste helps with keeping the frizz down but without weighing my hair down too much. it keeps the fly always down and looks less frizzy. i look forward to using this on my layers when i get my hair cut again so it lays less flat and has some texture. the jar is pretty small though, so keep that in mind if you’re someone who would need a lot of product. my hair isn’t curly, just straight and long, so i’m not sure how this would work with curlier hair, but if you have similar hair needs as me it might work for you too.

Works Best For Me on the Ends

It's summer time and my hair is taking a beating. Between swimming here, there and everywhere, and then having to shampoo after each time, my hair is being run through the wringer. I though perhaps this paste would help with the drying effects of all of the above, which is why I requested it. This review is of: IGK BEACH CLUB Soft Texture Paste, 2 oz. I quickly found that too much of this, or any amount near my roots, makes my hair look weighed down and greasy. After that initial try, I attempted to use this paste again and I only applied it on the bottom half of my hair, (which is about 1/4 of the way down my back.) I hit the jackpot doing that! It kept the lower half of my hair from looking like straw, and gave it a bit of body. I was able to use just a tiny, tiny bit nearer the roots which helped that portion on my hair be less frizzy and have a little more body to it. I used this paste, as described above, on damp hair right out of the shower, and let my hair air dry after that. This paste requires that you scoop a little out, rub it between your hands and then add it to the desired places on your hair. I think this stuff smells freaking great so it's a pleasure to work with. Overall, I'm really pleased with this IGK paste! I just recommend that you start out with a very small amount and then experiment from there to see which methods work for you.

Great for that Beachy Piecey Look

IGK BEACH CLUB Soft Texture Paste, I just cut my hair above my shoulders and had some layers added. I really wanted that "piecey" look to those layers and it be chunky. I got the look easily with this paste which smells amazing. You only need a tiny bit warmed between your fingers and then placed on the ends. It held all day and while this is a waxy product, it washed out easily. It doesn't feel sticky either.
