iCrate Dog Crate Starter Kit - Perfect for XS Dog Breeds and Easy Setup
I recently purchased the iCrate Dog Crate Starter Kit (22-inch) for my small dog, who weighs up to 12 pounds. I must say that I am quite impressed with the ease of setup and overall convenience of this crate. One of the standout features of this crate is how easy it is to fold and set up. It took me no time at all to get it ready for my dog to use, and folding it back up was just as simple. This is a great advantage when it comes to storage and keeping my space clutter-free. Assembling the crate was also a breeze. The instructions were clear, and I was able to put it together quickly without any issues. It's always a relief when a product is easy to assemble, and the iCrate Dog Crate Starter Kit definitely met my expectations in this regard. I have not yet had the opportunity to use this crate for traveling, but based on its compact design and easy setup, I can see it being a great travel companion for my dog. I look forward to using it on our next trip and anticipate that it will make transporting my furry friend much more manageable. In conclusion, the iCrate Dog Crate Starter Kit is an excellent purchase for anyone with an XS dog breed. Perfect Starter Crate
I really love this crate set. I love the vibrate baby blue color as opposed to that boring black color. It's a little too big for my pup but it came with a divider and it works perfect. The cover has been the best thing ever because it creates a quiet place for my puppy at night and puts him straight to sleep. He's so refreshed in the morning. The crate is too big for travel so I purchased him a travel crate (which is great), check out that review. Oh! The baby blue color on the crate does not appear to be easy scratched off which I do like. Very well made. I don't like assembling anything but the assembly was really easy as I did it myself. I'd recommend purchasing.

Perfect starter kit
This is the perfect wire cage to start cage training your pup if you are unsure about spending the big bucks, or cannot afford the expensive ones. My pup is 7 months old weighs 50 lbs and is in the middle of training and she has adapted to this crate well.

A pretty good buy
Everything came in just fine except for one of the handles that came in broken. The clip came in broken when I received it. The crate is somewhat easy to fold and put away. The hardest part is connecting the sides of the crate together. If I could get the handles replaced for the crate that would be great.

Perfect kennel kit!
This kennel is everything & more, my babyboy LOVES his new home. Has everything pictured, great quality and so easy to set up, took me maybe 5-6 minutes total for set up. Buy this, you won’t regret! I love the bowls that are included!

7/15/21 - UPDATE: I have noticed that the locking mechanism has started rusting. This crate has only been used indoors. Not sure if it's due to moisture in air from the humidity in South GA or my dogs slobber. It still functions and I'm sure a little CLR mixed with warm water will clean it off. Still a good purchase. 1/10/21 - UPDATE: The XL crate will NOT fit in sedans. I downgraded from a Tahoe to a Honda Accord once my kids were older and this crate would not fit in my trunk, so couldn't take for Christmas. Also, I recommend not putting the crate mat in the kennel with a puppy that is still potty training. My Golden had #2 embedded in the mat and it is now stained (instructions state not to use any abrasives). I would suggest getting a waterproof crate mat that can be easily cleaned. Still happy with purchase, however. ORIGINAL POST: We decided it was time to start crate training our 5mth old Golden Retriever who is going through her terrible twos at the moment. We are in the process of building an entertainment center kennel but needed an intervention ASAP. I seen this crate and loved that it came with absolutely EVERYTHING (I.e., crate, bed, bowls, fitted darkening cover, handles, two doors, and divider) so I decided to purchase an XL. The size chart indicated size Large for Goldens, but since Piper's dad is 85lbs, I wanted to make certain she would have enough room once fully grown. The XL is bigger (or looks bigger) than I anticipated but I'm also used to my 5lb Morkie, so my size perception is a bit skewed in that respect. Our Golden has a good bit of room to move around at her current size (≤30-40lbs). I am glad I sized up so she won't be confined to solely just lying down during the times she is in it, especially when full grown. Pros: 1. I love that the bottom of the dog bed is waterproof (think crinkly plastic mattress pad or shower curtain) and the bottom corners have elastic mattress straps for the crate tray/pan to keep the bed from bunching and sliding. The pan can also be slid-out without opening the doors or removing the crate cover. 2. The bowls are big, deep, (Well they are when compared to my 5lb Morkie's bowls at least) and stainless steel. They secure directly to the bars so there is no sliding or tilting, yet the bowl can be removed without having to undo the locking mechanism allowing for easy refill. 3. The crate cover is a thin polyester fabric that is water and stain proof, yet machine washable. It has 4 velcro fasteners on each corner that allows the cover to fit securely while preventing light from entering. You can also purchase another cover separately in one of the three colors & patterns they offer. 4. The crate lays down flat for storage and comes with 2 hard plastic handles that you can attach for easy transport. Cons: The only downfall I have noticed thus far (just received it 8hrs ago) is some of the metal ends on the top where they cut the crate bars are extremely sharp and can cut/stab you if you aren't careful, especially during setup. I only noticed a couple on mine because they got me but I also didn't go feeling around for more either. Overall: I would most definitely recommend this product and I will likely replace my Morkie's crate with this product (smaller size of course). Tonight is our Golden's first night in the crate. We put the cover over it and after 10-15min. of barking, I placed a white noise machine near her and within 10min she calmed down and went to sleep. We will be using it to travel for Christmas, so I will update with pictures and how it does with traveling (due to it being XL).

My pup feels safe in it
I have a small dog and a full house. She often has to avoid a toddler who has no sense of space and after purchasing this kennel, she is found snuggled up in it and safe. The cover is nice. I actually purchased this for my cat, as well. He sometimes gets overstimulated and becomes defensive. I wanted a dark space for him to calm down in and feel safe as well. It's worked great, small enough that it doesn't get in the way. Has a food and water bowl that attaches to the kennel allowing for more space for the pet. And a bed that is very fluffy and my dog really likes it.

Be prepared to pay more than half the value of item in shipping charges to return!!
I had researched and looked for the ideal dog from a home environment. In preparation I bought this cage as it has detachable food/water bowls so no spillage in crate, a bed and a cover. Now just had to wait for my puppy to reach 8 weeks!. A week later my husband died and I could barely look at the assembled cage. I was not in the headspace to take on the work of a new puppy after this shock. I began the return process after much wrangling with my son to flatten the cage as it is hard to do. I saw that the shipping cost was 45.00 and I had paid 73.00 for the cage. It now sits in the back of my son's closet. I will either sell it or see how we are in the grieving process by April 2022 and look for another dog. No indication upon buying it that shipping charges were not paid if returned. Just a disappointment. The cage itself will last forever and is sturdy and the detachable food bowls and cover are great however. I had also bought a smaller sized bed to make it half size of the crate and put a puppy pee pad on the other half. (was going to buy a chihuahua).

Fell apart after only a couple months.
UPDATE: after less than 6 months, our crate is falling apart. Wire sticking into crate - very unsafe for our pup. Will be contacting customer service to ask for a refund. Original post: Got this crate for our young golden retriever pup. Liked how easy it was to assemble and that it came with accessories. Unfortunately, he always finds a way to pull the cover through the bars and into the crate with him, so we can't use it. Also, the metal isn't terribly strong and he's been able to break out of it repeatedly. At this point, the door is bent and requires carabiners to keep it secured. Our bad, but the crate also scratched our baseboards. Would be nice to have some sort of bumper. Overall, it's an ok product for the price but isn't up to the job for a large, strong pup like ours.

Mostly good with a couple complaints
I ordered the 24” crate kit for my PomChi pup. I’m using the divider because it’s still too much space for her, and that’s working well. As soon as I put the cover down she knows it’s sleepy time. The crate itself is very good. Sturdy and easy to set up. The fleece bed fits perfectly on the bottom tray of the crate. That’s the only positive for the bed though. As others have mentioned, it’s not chew proof.. Fluff everywhere! and my dog wants to eat the fluff. I ended up ordering a different crate mat from the same company (Quiet Time Deluxe Pet Bed, shown in my photo). It’s SO much better and I recommend that one! I priced out all the items individually on Amazon (crate, cover, snap bowls, bed) and it was still cheaper to buy this kit, even with purchasing the additional crate pad- so it’s definitely good value. The cover is just a thin nylon type material with velcro closures, but it works fine for my needs. I don’t need a fancy cover. The snap bowls are very tight and I find them hard to remove from the holders (if you need to clean them, for example). I ended up removing the brackets and just using them as regular food bowls.

Just perfect!
My 2.5 month old golden retriever loves her new home. This package almost includes everything we need to start with. The cover, the bowls, the pet bed... After less than 30 minutes back home, my dog already treat this crate as the most comfortable and safest place to stay. We are super happy about this purchase.

Best choice for large dog 48"
The media could not be loaded. I love the size. Both of my dogs can comfortably go inside, and the Shepherd isn't hunched over. The bowls are an absolute pain to get the stickers out of. I soaked first in oil for 24hours, then dawn dish soap. Finally after the soap, I was able to get off the sticker. The cover is lightweight and makes it den-like. I love the dual entry. It lets me place the crate lengthwise along the wall instead of sticking out into the room. The bed is nice, and fits perfectly
