Pre-use review
I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box. I had borrowed a corker from a friend and it was solid metal, which I why I purchased this one. The description is "Metal double-lever wine corker", but the main body that inserts the cork is some type of plastic, not metal. Hence, 4 stars for a misleading name for this product. It does seem to be sturdy, but I've only corked 6 bottles so far. I soaked the corks for several minutes and they went in easily and, after a minor depth adjustment, to the perfect depth. I have 5 gallons to rack in two weeks and will see how it holds up.

It does the job, but not very well. If you are home brewing and handing out to friends that do not care that the cork looks like crap, then go for it. But if you want a nice clean professional look and feel, skip it. I did not care about the look to it was okay for me.

Metal Double-Lever Wine Corker is great
This is a great product for home brewer. It is very easy to use and puts a good tight seal when corking the bottle. thanks
