Cute bikini bottom. Nice fabric.

My daughter is 5’5” 115 lbs and usually wears size small or 4 bottoms. Her hip measurement put her in size 6 according to the included in the listing chart, so that’s the size we ordered. It fits her perfectly, therefore based on this experience I would say that these bikini bottoms fit true to size chart but size smaller than regular sizing. My daughter really likes the fit, style, fabric, and color of these bikini bottoms. My only issue is that for a swimsuit bottom in this price I expect perfection of workmanship but unfortunately my daughter’s pair has an error in stitching on the back. One spot that’s approximately 1.5” long has been stitched twice so it has a double stitch line as well as loose threads hanging out. Also, the elastic that’s inside the waistband and leg openings is sewn in such a way on the interior that it is sticking out on every end. My daughter says that she doesn’t feel it, and since it is on the interior it is not visible when worn, so I’m not taking star off for that but I’m taking a star off for the bad stitch on the exterior of the back.

Comfortable and practical

Sunshine 79 is a new brand to me, and I ended up ordering a bunch of their swimwear to try out. Across the board, the quality is great, the colors are vibrant, and the pieces I tried are true to the online photos. The material is soft, flexible, and still feels like it'll hold up for a long time. I love all the gold detailing; feels very classy. I'm 5'2", 110lbs, 32B and ordered size 2 of everything. This piece - the hipster bottoms - were probably the most true-to-size bottoms I tried. More snug than the high-waisted ones, less so than the French-cut. They're comfortable and decently modest, not very cheeky at all. They'll be great for swimming - no worries about them going anywhere. That being said, they're not the most flattering. It's probably just my shape - I don't doubt they'd look good on someone else - and could also be the string halter top I paired them with. I'd recommend a different style top for sure. Still, though, these are great, practical bikini bottoms, and the quality can't be faulted.

Fabric feels wonderful, but order up a size - hugs snugly in front.

I’m picky on swimsuits. This bikini bottom is well-made, the fabric is vibrant in color and it feels absolutely wonderful on my skin, but I have some issues with fit - Sunshine 79 Bikini Bottom - Sky/Fresh Blooms - Size 8. It settles somewhere between a bikini and a hipster. There is nice rear coverage - it hits somewhat modestly. On the front though, there is cling. The bottom wants to hug snugly on my lower front torso (not in the best place). I think a larger size would solve the problem. I’m 5’5” 135lb., a true medium, normally an 8. I should have ordered a size 10. I wish there was a link to the matching top.

Meant for slim/less curves

I have a slender figure but a bit of a thicker bottom half, proportionally. This cuts into me a bit and while it’s not terribly uncomfortable, it looks a bit like I’m wear too small of a size. Everything else fits great, I love the soft material and the print, but the cut in the back isn’t quite right.

Great material.

The pattern is beautiful. I love the colors. I have the matching top as well. The bottoms fit well, but show a little of the backside. Definitely not full coverage, but still very cute. The material is thick and well made.

My new favorite brand!

I am absolutely in love these Sunshine 79 bikini bottoms. It is so stunning & the quality of the brand is simply out of this world! I love the Fresh Blooms pattern, the colors are vibrant, and bright. The overall fit, and everything about the bottoms make them super flattering. It is double lined, so there's no see through parts & the fabric is so incredibly soft and comfortable. Definitely the most comfortable swimsuit I've ever owned. I ordered a size 14 which I would say are about equivalent to a L/XL and they fit perfectly! The bum has some nice coverage, you still get some sexy cheek without showing all your goods and not feeling covered. You definitely get what you pay for. The quality of this suit is just SOOO GOOD.

Very niice quality and good fit

My wife loves this bikini. She got all three matching pieces. She says this is the best bathing suit she has ever had. It fits well and the she loves how the material feels. When you get something that is well made, it just feels good. Her husband, (me) loves it, too.
