Exactly as described and as pictured.

I purchased 3 of these stools to replace 3 traditional, high-backed stools we have used for several years. Our former stools were very nice, very sturdy, and held up well but I wanted to open up the look/feel of our kitchen so I opted to try these backless stools. I spent a lot of time searching for the right stools and read entirely too many reviews. I am very happy with these. They are a very simple style and work well with any decor. My taste skews a bit vintage and I have many antiques and these look fine with my decor. They would also work well with a very modern feel. The seat is well cushioned and generously sized. Thus, they are a good match for my seat. :-) They are very sturdy. No wobble whatsoever. They were very easy to assemble. Just a few steps. I think only 3 because we did not attach the extensions. Took my husband and I less than an hour to assemble 3 and even we couldn't get it wrong with the very simple instructions. I love how they nest below my bar and are neatly tucked out of the line of sight. They do stick out a bit but they would not be comfortable if they were narrow enough to be flush with my countertop. One plus I was not expecting, the seat cushion sticks out just enough to protect my cabinets when these are pushed in. There is no metal that touches my cabinet. I was a bit concerned because of the few very negative reviews, until I read them. I have never heard of a stool that is height adjustable at random. It would not be sturdy. Yes, you can see the screws if you are looking for them on the insides of the legs. They are painted and are not any more obvious than any other screws I have seen on stools. They are incredibly easy to assemble. As with any assembly, do not tighten the screws until you are done and you will have no problems. Yes, the seat is vinyl. The vinyl is decent looking, resembles leather. I wouldn't want actual leather for this purpose and I don't expect leather for this price. The vinyl is much better than the fabric options I have seen. Yes, they are labeled as having been treated with fire repellant. If you wish to avoid all fire repellant, choose hard surfaces. Your also going to want to get rid of your couch, patio furniture cushions, mattress, carpet, and some of your clothing. These stools are simple, sturdy, comfy, look nice with pretty much any decor, easy to put together, well packaged, and inexpensive. They are just as described and look just like the photo.

Great stool, good price.

These stools are really sturdy and a great quality! It's hard to find a good padded saddle back stool that has a sturdy seat I have kids that sit on their knees on the stools, so a solid bottom to the seat is important to me. We got these to replace a set of upholstered saddle back wood stools that were all scuffed up and the seat of the stool had broken since it was made of chipboard. These stools are solid and very comfortable. I can see them lasting a long time. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is b/c I wish the legs were thicker to look more visually weighted. Overall this is a great price and I'm very happy with them.

Great simple stools!

Was looking for some stools for a rental unit and bought these after searching all over. These are perfect for their purpose and everything arrived quickly and it was easy to assemble. We like the look. The price was really great!

attractive and fairly sturdy, but also kind of cheaply made

For the price they aren't bad. They definitely are a brown color, not copper at all. The seating doesn't look like real leather, nor is it expected to at this price. The welds are pretty rough. Big piece of advice, don't put on the legs and then try to put in the supports. I ended up scratching it quite a bit trying to do that per the instructions. The supports didn't fit in easily. Put on one leg, then add the supports, then loosely add the second leg and maneuver the supports onto the second leg, then tighten the second leg down. My stool came out rock solid (that sounds so wrong) but the stool my husband put together was wobbly, no matter what adjustments we made. They look nice, they are relatively inexpensive. They aren't that hard to put together. I like that the seat sticks out pretty far so it bumps up against the island instead of the metal legs, minimizing any scratching. If you want a relatively cheap counter stool it's not a bad buy.

Better than expected!

Bought two of these and wondered what I would get for the price. We are pleasantly surprised at the look, feel and quality! They are very sturdy, holding my 230 lb. husband no problem at all. No wobble and we are using the extensions (which didn't look that sturdy in the pictures). I agree with the recommendation to put all screws in loosely and tighten once all are in place. Easy to assemble, one size screw with two washers each (looks like a lot of hardware at first, but really there are only 3 different pieces in the whole bag). Highly recommend!

Really Nice Quality

Really nice quality. I looked and looked for the right stools, the ones with the big round chrome base are too hard to keep clean, these are nice and heavy with a big seat, they are very comfy, and they feel secure. I paired my stools with a metal wood topped work bench that serves as a great island. The styles, are perfect together. The dark bronze/brown of these works just fine with the dark gray metal on my island, the colors are not that far off from each other. The copper color must come from the faux leather textured liked hammered copper.

Very pleased with this purchase

I did some research before ordering these for my son's new townhouse. I was a little worried about some of the reviews saying they were hard to put together and unstable. I didn't find either of those things to be true. They were very easy to assemble are very stable and look fabulous in his kitchen at the island bar. They are extremely comfortable and slide nicely under the overhang. The color is a beautiful chocolate brown and I love how there is a nice place for your feet to rest on the cross bar. I am very pleased with this purchase and the price point was great!
