Best choice to complete vanity set

After looking for a chair to complete my girlfriends Christmas vanity set, I came across this chair and it had all the things I wanted and needed. It was easy to assemble, although a bit smaller than I imagined, she loved it so that’s a checkmark in my book.

Seems to be defective

The media could not be loaded. 2/4 screws don't go in all the way and yes i made sure they were aligned with the holes. As you can see in the video the first screw just keep spinning and actually comes up while the second one just doesn’t move and is blocked. Don’t know if this is a defective product but i dont think its worth 150$.
