So Simple and So Effective
I purchased these shorts while they were on sale and I fell in love with them. They were everything I ever wanted in a running/workout short. The simplicity is perfect, these shorts are not trying to be anything but functional. I did cut out the liner on the inside of the shorts, but that is a personal preference and I am sure others may like them. The inseam seems about 5 or 5.5 inches. These have become my go-to running shorts, I would buy more if they go on sale again.

Great shorts for what I needed them for!
I am a woman & yes, I bought men's shorts. I bought these particular ones because I just had hip replacement surgery & needed loose fitting comfortable shorts for physical therapy that had a lining in them so that everyone at physical therapy wasn't getting a free show while I was doing my awkward stretches & exercises on a table where it is open & everyone walks by me & can see up my shorts. These shorts are not flattering on me what so ever. I would not wear them outside of my therapy sessions. I don't see them being flattering on any woman's body. They are cut & made for a man. I gave them 5 stars because they weren't expensive & they served their purpose for me & what I needed them for.

Would be great aside from one thing.
Cant beat for the price! They fit well and the liner is comfortable enough. They would be great, but the material has absolutely NO give. Okay for running and such, but you cannot bend your legs well in these at all.

Inner pocket is very small.
I like these shorts and may even order more, but it's helpful to know that the interior pocket is extremely small. Otherwise, they're great (but remember, you get what you pay for).

Nice material, somewhat large
Used it for running 1st time yesterday. It is well made, nice material, feels very light. I'm usually XL, so I bought this XL as well. It seems to be somewhat large (mainly - too wide). I can live with it, but should better buy L

Inner pocket is NOT a zipped pocket, OK shorts for the money.
OK, and quite good quality for the money. I was looking for something without pockets. I run the hurdles, and it's not cool when you catch a thumb in a pocket. Anyway, these were dirt cheap so I took a chance. They're slightly baggier at the thigh than I like, but I could not go a waist size smaller. Stout guys may like these shorts? I am thin. I do notice that they've already raised the price by a bit. $15 now, still a bargain relative to name athletic brands. The inner pocket is a standard key pocket, it is not zippered.

Great material with a small twist
Fit is as expected, runs as short as it says they do! My only warning is that there’s a mesh/lining inside the shorts that act as a brief-type layer. It’s kind of annoying, if it’s not what you expected!
