First impressions of Handy Cane. Update 7/12/2021
The basic design is great. It is quite agile when it comes to retrieving dropped items. The grabber seems to be moderately well constructed. My chief complaint is with the handle. It could be more rigid where it attaches to the shaft of the cane and as far as ergonomics it leaves a lot to be desired. The handle curves backward toward the user putting strain on the users wrist. Update to my review 7/12/2021. I still love this cane, but I am on my second one in a short period of time. The issue I am running into is that the rubber jaws loosen up over time and there is no way to tighten them. I realize that these are limited in their lifting capacity but right now mine won't close tight enough to pick a tee shirt up of the floor. At roughly $45 a shot and the short time the canes seem to survive I am going to start looking for an alternative. This cane is up to $60 from other online sellers.

Not as handy as I thought it would be
It does do exactly as stated but the hand grip feels cheap and I feel like it will break when I lean on it. Plus the clamping force is weaker than I would have liked.

Great, but read review before using!
This is my second one. Great all around. Two pieces of advice. 1. If out of the box, the rubber tips don’t join well enough to hold a sheet of paper tight, exchange it for a new one. 2. DO NOT put pressure on it or use it as a cane when clamping jaws are in the extended position. Doing so will stretch the internal metal rods making it no longer clamp well. Used for years, I couldn’t do with out it.

No refund policy
The cane is very sturdy when closed,but if you are reaching for something you are picking up and loose you're balance and lean on one prong even lightly it snaps right off and down you go. I thought it was my fault so I just bought another one when it happened a second time I contacted the company explained my Celina and asked if I could buy the bottom joint as I thought it was an easy solution but I received a E-mail saying they would not sell me the parts to fix it myself or offer me a replacement just 40% a new one so beware if you are not great on your feet USE CAUTION.

Great cane
This is a great and handy cane to have I sadly have to rely on my cane to walk as I have severe nerve damage in my leg. So I’ve tried many canes this one feels good in my hand the Length is perfect. I don’t know how many times I’ve dropped things and wished I had a grabber or someone to help me pick it up. This has given me a bit of self dependence back. It’s nice and light weight the grabbing tool built strong. My only gripe and why i have a 4 star is the handle feels like cheap plastic compared to the rest of the cane. But overall a great cane that has give me back some independence!!

Handy Cane
This is a great travel companion for errands and road trips as it makes life with mobility challenges easier to manage. I like the durability of solid structure but it is a challenge with air travel as it is not foldable for storage. One feature I appreciate because I need help sometimes just to lift my legs with bad knees, bending is not an option.

Very handy if it's hard to reach floor.
It is light weight but quite usable for balance assist. I use in stores and at home to pick up small items. Even dimes off floor and paper from lawn. Not heavy duty but good for extended reach.
