Great halter! A needle in a haystack

It was quite a search to find a halter with a fixed ring for the lead rope AND a clip on a cheek piece. This is well made, fits beautifully, and I am thrilled to no longer have to wrestle with a moving ring where the lead rope attaches. Previously when my mare went down to graze, the movement in her old halter caused the straps to slide up to her eye. I highly recommend this halter and wish that more were made this way!

Love these halters.

I've been using Hamilton halters for years. Not sure why they are hard to find now, but the quality is still great. These will last you years and years. Not sure you can do much better in terms of a nylon halter.

very good quality halter and beautiful color

This halter is thick and durable. Really nice quality and the color (navy) is beautiful. I have a foundation stock Quarter Horse; should have bought the halter in warmblood size.

I wouldn't say I am an expert in this area, but this halter works great for our needs. We lease a horse and it's always difficult to find halters at the barn that aren't in use, so we wanted to buy our own. This is easy for my 9 year old (and me) to get on and off the horse....plus, the color is great (which is pretty true to color in the picture).

Great halter, but they used to be better

Not as heavy duty as Hamilton used to make, but I still keep buying them because I can't anything else better. The nylon is still strong and there is consistency in the quality. I highly recommend them for lack of a better alternative.

I love Hamilton halters!

I love Hamilton halters and this one is no exception. Such great quality in the material, the hardware and the construction. I love the snap that goes under but still has the fixed main ring, I feel these are the easiest to put on and use-no messing around with buckles behind the ears.

Great Quality, Fits Well

This halter is constructed solid; it has more (and heavier) stitching than nylon web halters from other manufacturers. The hardware also seems to be of good quality. I originally sought out a Hamilton halter because I love the one I had for a previous horse, but it was slightly too small for my current horse. This (large horse size) halter fits my difficult-to-fit mare like it was custom made for her. For reference, she's a Clydesdale / Quarter Horse cross, and about 1,300lbs.
