Sturdy, quality, perfect for tomato plants
I start my tomato seedlings in deeper pots because I learned they like to have deep roots. I bought these as I like to reuse seed starter pots for years. I always buy sturdy ones like these because the cheap kind break and need to be replaced yearly and for that, if you keep buying seed starting stuff and soil and pots, you're not saving money growing your own food! So I like reuseables and these are good. In fact, a friend commented that my tomato seedlings looked so much heartier, better developed, and with more leaves than hers, several inches taller, and they were planted around the same time. I told her the secret I learned from Niki Jabbour's gardening book, "All Season Vegetable Gardener" that tomato seeds should be planted in deeper containers. Love these. I'll probably purchase more. My peppers like them too!

Right size.
Just the right size to transplant my tomatoe plants into these pots. This will hold them till it's time to put the plants in the garden. Made well with holes in the bottom.

Material and dimensions
First I like the material- I reuse these for a couple of seasons after a wash in water and a rinse in dilute bleach. Second- I like the dimensions for starting tomatoes, squash, melons and pumpkins to foster a strong root system.

Awesome value that will last multiple seasons.
Nice and deep! Decently sturdy for the job at hand. Will last a few seasons.

Square pots have a catch
Really like the taller size and the sturdiness of the pot. Plus square pots fit in a 10x20 tray better than round pots. HOWEVER...I discovered that seedlings slide out of round pots far easier than square pots. Even though they made the top wider than the bottom. And its not just this brand, square pots are just trickier that way.

Perfect size for planting out vegetables
These are nice deep pots that fit well 18 to a standard 10x20 tray and provide good root space for tomatoes to grow out. Thin enough to be flexible but adequately sturdy. They are essentially the same size as a solo cup but can pack 6 into the space that 3 solo cups fit in. Image shows a tray with epic-6 seed trays, solo cups and these greenhouse pots in the back of the tray.

Nice Size and Shape for Tomato Seedlings.
These are a nice container, deeper than most. To re-use and sterilize, I cleaned them off by hand, then ran through the dishwasher. They weren't damaged at all. My tomato plants have more root room than in the shorter pots. I tried to buy more but they have been out of stock.

Depth
Transplanting in these deep pots work well. When I first transplant seedlings, I only plant them about half way up. as they mature and grow, I add more potting soil. those that get roots along the buried stem thrive even better.
