works great

I read the reviews on others....cracking glass, broken handle on first use.....etc. This one is great. Easy to use ....makes great coffee. NO broken glass....NO broken handle....the right size . My Yeti is the 30 ounce travel cup. This maker fills it up perfectly with the added cream.

Best way to make coffee.

Easy to use you put your coffee in. Add boiling water let it steep voila you have great tasting coffee.

Broke in less than 6 months

The buttons on the handle broke within a month and the frame and glass broke within 6 months. I wish I had just bought at a store so I could return this broken item.

So many uses

OK - I admit it - I did not buy this coffee press to make coffee as I don't drink much coffee myself. I wanted to use it to keep milk really really really cold and it does that. As soon as it arrived I removed the coffee filter parts, filled it with milk and placed it in the refrigerator. An hour later when I wanted some milk it was icy cold. Just as I wanted. Then I started reading about how to make "pressed" coffee in less than four minutes with this thing and so I had to try that too. I may soon become a coffee drinker and I am enjoying a glass of iced coffee as I write this. What fabulous taste. I never knew coffee could taste this great. Strong but not bitter and ever so smoooooth. It's so simple to use - put the coarse-ground coffee into the bottom, fill with the amount of boiling water you want, stir, put on the lid and wait four minutes. Press down the plunger on top and viola - there you have it - fabulous coffee. And this thermal pot keeps the coffee hot for a long time too. No more plugging a pot back in or putting it back on the stove to heat up the remainder. Now I guess I need to buy a second one to keep the milk cold. And maybe I need one for orange juice too. It says dishwasher safe but I recommend hand washing - it takes just seconds to rinse it out and dry polish it. It's a lovely item....artistically designed, easy to use, sturdy and would make a perfect hostess gift.

Goodcook Koffe 8-Cup Coffee Press - Makes Great Coffee - Cleanup, Not So Great

Let me start off with saying, I LOVE coffee. I like it hot, I like it cold. I like it just about any form. I have antique vacuum coffee makes, and may other types. I have never owned French Press type maker and was looking forward to trying this unit by Boodcook Koffe. This is a very well made maker. The build quality and finish are great. The fit of the plunger and lid are near prefect. I preheated the pot with hot water. Put in my coarse ground coffee. Pored in the hot water. Gave it a gentle stir and pressed. Pretty easy to do. Pored a cup of coffee for my wife and I to enjoy. It was really good. Much like the coffee from one of my vacuum coffee makers. Way better than drip style coffee makers. May major complaint is cleaning the pot afterward. What a mess. Maybe there is a better special way of cleaning it, but no instructions came with the unit to explain this. It is for this reason I could only give it 3 stars. If it were easier to clean, I would use it all the time. If this isn't an issue for you, you will love this unit.

Wonderful...

I've used a glass-and-chrome French press for many years. It's worked consistently well for a long time, but this is a better press. Why? Because it solves my two areas of irritation with the glass and chrome press.... First, it's a thermal design: the stainless in the lid and body of the carafe is double-walled. I dislike how quickly the glass carafe of my old press allows the coffee to cool. This press allows me to do less reheating of my coffee. Second, the solid stainless body of this carafe keeps me from having to remove and polish the glass of my old press. That old glass-and-chrome style always looked messy unless you removed the glass and polished it and the chrome separately. Finally, it's worth adding that this makes just as good coffee and is unbreakable.

Super 8-Cup French Press

This is only my second ever French press. I love the stainless steel as it has a nice look but also keeps the coffee decently warm if you do the full eight cups. As of now, I only use it for four-cups of coffee. I genuinely enjoy the brew this makes and how easy it is to use. No complaints! A great French press.

Sturdy string coffee press

This thermal coffee press don't feel flimsy, is not heavy but yes it feels thick, not flimsy. I like how shiny it is, makes for a great gift, the box us not the best presentation but still this piece oncecout of the box looks beautiful and any coffee lover will easily love it.
