Give this product a chance!! Professional Blowout!

Give this product a chance! This product is not meant to dry the hair or fully curl it. It is a meant for a different effect/style and gives the results of a professional salon blowout or styling after you visit your hair dresser. See more details below: It took me a few tries to figure this product out, give it a shot and I promise it is amazing! I have longer, wavy-thick hair and it worked for me. On my first attempt I had to go over the same sections a few times until I got the hang of it. Once I did it was a breeze, soooo much faster than curling my hair. Definitely will use this when I need a quick touch up or don't have the time to curl all my hair. My friends even asked if I had just went to the salon or got my hair cut! It provides the look as if you just went to the salon and the stylist gave you a blowout (SEE PICTURES below). It provides GREAT volume, bounce and shine. Really felt like it revived my hair! In times of COVID, I was so happy to receive the complaints that it looked like I just came from the salon! can't wait to use this more often! Would be great for people with lots of layers! Even short -fine/thin hair. I have wavy-thick long hair and it worked great!! TIPS: +Watch the product videos & tutorials- this was extremely helpful to use the product properly +Brush hair fully before using so your hair doesn't get tangled (if you have longer hair like me) +Wrap hair VERY loosely, again it works different than a normal curling iron and will tightening as you pull your hair downward +Press and hold the power to turn on/off, a noise will sound to alert you if it is on/off

More "loves" and "likes" than dislikes! Worth the money!

Loved: How quickly it heats up and is ready to go to work; automatic shut off; didn't burn my hair; curl/bend/volume lasted ALL day (I have fine but A LOT of hair) and even over night! Liked: Its light and mobile, enjoyed the long chord. I also loved how my hair felt, light amd airy and voluminous unlike the heavy or corse feeling with certain flat irons and curling irons (major plus!) Meh/ Disliked: Its not the most user friendly design but my the 2nd time I used it was easier. I feel like by the 3rd time its obvious why it was worth the 200.00 it just takes a couple times of practice

I would recommend buying this hot brush!

I have only had the hot round brush for a few days (which is why I gave 4 stars vs 5 stars) but overall I like the brush and the more I use it, the more I like it. Since it’s not that user friendly in the beginning, I would recommend watching some videos for pointers. But once you start playing around with it, it becomes much easier! I like the volume and curls that I can get with my long hair but I would suggest curling smaller sections of hair to prevent the brush getting tangled in your hair.

Great hair tool

It took me a while to get the hang of this hair tool but once I did, WOW! I section my hair and wrap my hair around the wand from the bottom up in the direction I want the curl to go. I hold for about 20 seconds and then gently unravel my hair. I also use the wand at my roots to add volume. It helps to watch some YouTube videos for instruction. This is for use on dry hair and it gives your hair a lot of bounce and the look of a professional blow out. I really like this GHD Rise and highly recommend it

The media could not be loaded. The GHD Rise hot air brush has its positives and negatives. I love that it heats up in a flash and appreciate the longer cord! I will say it is a little hard to use at first. It did get tangled up during my first attempts, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier and easier. My hair had full bounce afterward. Super happy with the results.

Stick with it! Amazing hair ahead!

The first two uses, I thought I’d made a mistake in trying to use this for creating loose, lazy waves like they show in their instructional videos. Something clicked for me the third use and now I love it. The twist/glide motion is the key and now my hair is exactly how I hoped it would be!

Not worth the high price

I expected way more from this tool. The temperature can't be changed (it's set at 360°) and it did not curl much at all. I have the Conair hot brush, which I also use at 360°, and it curls my hair like nothing else and the curls last for days! The curls I created with the ghd didn't last for more than half a day. For reference, I have long, fine hair, but I have a fair amount of it. It took me a while to do my hair with the ghd (25 minutes), where it only takes me 10 minutes to curl my hair with my Conair hot brush. I suspect that the fact that some of the bristles of the Conair are heated is what curls so fast and make the curls last so long. I also tried to get volume at the root with the ghd and saw no difference. The pros of the ghd are the light weight, the auto shutoff and the design, which is smooth and even when your hair rolls past the brush part, it doesn't catch in anything because there is no separation like there is on the Conair one (and yes, if I'm not careful, my hair catches in that crack between the handle and the brush). Also, the bristles are not too long and your hair won't get stuck in the brush. With all that in mind, I still prefer my Conair to the ghd and at $30, it's a fraction of the price, it gives me tons of volume and it lasts for days! At $239, I was expecting the ghd to be amazing and I did not get the results I wanted. I feel like it might work better for someone with shorter hair who isn't necessarily wanting lots of curls, but more like a blow out effect.

Good Product

The ghd Rise Volumizing Hot Brush is easy to use and takes less time to style my fine hair than other hair volumizing tools. The Con: this product only has one temperature setting. For the price there should be more functions to this product.

Its only okay

Had high hopes for this one as I love GHD tools but this was okay ish for the price or maybe I couldn’t figure out how to use it properly but it wasnt hot enough to style my frizzy hair.
