Awesome Power Strip

This power strip offers almost all kinds of protection, has enough power outlets and USB outputs. Most importantly, it has 15ft cord length which is what exactly I wanted. And of course, world-renowned company, GE. What else would you want. So far, it is working great. Will update this review accordingly, if something good or bad happens.

Not nearly enough space for large plugs and wall warts.

I purchased this to use as a surge protector for a new desktop computer, and only found out how terribly spaced the plugs are once I tried to plug in the two monitors' abnormally large plugs. The three wider set plugs are too close to the four closer-spaced ones, to the point where if you have any kind of wall wart from a phone charger or laptop, etc., they will partially block the adjacent plugs. I ended up only having room for one regular plug and two large ones because of the spacing issue, which was actually WORSE than a cheapo inline 7-plug power strip I had laying around. Would not recommend this if you have any plugs that cover a wider than normal footprint, despite the layout.

Works as advertised but came scratched

I was looking for a power strip with surge protection and space for those oddly sized power blocks. This is not it. Sorry. There is not enough space for the iPhone 12/13 block with anything else next to it (tried a normal lamp with small two prong plug). As for those strange long sideways blocks-nope, can’t put two next to each other either, not enough space. I still have to stagger plugs in it. Sigh. The flat wall plug is nice, but it is curved toward the right and I needed it to the left or just down (not a deal breaker, just looks silly). Oh yeah, it was all scratched up straight out of the box, like someone used it for a while and sent it back, though I bought it as NEW. It functions as it should, though I haven’t summoned lightning to test the surge protection yet.

Good for Rentals

My rental unit doesn’t have a lot of outlets. Running this chord along the wall using some Command chord hooks allowed me to put the tv on the other side of the room. This was a game changer as I could arrange the entire living room accordingly. I like that this chord is white so it blends in to my white walls. I also like that it has USB ports and allows me to charge multiple things on the side of the room that has no outlets.

Still can't access all outlets :-(

Main reason for buying this was to allow me to plug in several larger plugs without having a massive power strip. Despite this product being spec'd to accommodate the larger plugs, you can not access all the open outlets when utilizing it for larger plugs. You are cramped side to side as well as not being able to use the outlets directly above the larger plug outlets. Very disappointing. On the plus side, the power strip is certified UL which was another key consideration for me.

Better safe than sorry!

I got this cord specifically to hook my streaming desktop in to prevent power surges from messing up my hardware. So far so good! Good number of outlets and usb ports and the light also helps!

I could move dresser closet to wall with flat plug!

Plugging in a fan and light behind dresser! Plug is right behind dresser so long enough cord! Both fan and light sit on dressser!
