Buena fuerza

Compre esta licuadora GE Licuadora de 5 velocidades + (2) licuadora de 16 onzas porque la que tenia se rompio y esta estaba en buen precio y es bonita y tenia dos piezas estras,No esta mal el unico problema es cuando la pones en el nivel 5 por unos segundos sale del motor un olor como a quemado casi nunca la pongo en ese nivel y funciona bien.

Covers all the bases.

My wife and I rarely use our NutriBullet blender but our kids (21 & 25) do when they're occasionally staying over. The NutriBullet, I think, is a little awkward to use with the twist off/twist on operation. But it's certainly doable. The main problem is that it seems exceptionally loud to all of us. In fact, we cover our ears when they use it and my kids put tissues in their ears when they're holding it in the on position. So looking through reviews I found this more traditional type of blender and happily noted that some of the reviews mentioned that it was relatively quiet. Done! Works perfectly for the kids' smoothies, sharp looking, not hard to clean, easy to operate (I like the click-in locking feature), and quieter. Is it silent? Of course not, but no more tissues in ears. :)

Individual cups great!

The individual smoothie cups blend up nicely. Even packing each cup very full with little liquid, this blender has some power! I wish there was more than 2 cups or another blade. The blade is a little hard to unscrew if you put it on tight. The cups and blade are not too difficult to clean. The big blender is super difficult to clean though.

Bought this to make smoothies for protein drinks. I add frozen fruit for coldness and consistency. Whim adding about a cup of pineapple and a cup of water this blender often cannot do it. It sounds under powered to turn against the fruit. The ice crush setting can do it but tends to throw the contents up the wall and generally sounds rough. Easy to clean. Top does leak even if pitcher filled to below max fill. If the liquid makes it to the top it forces out past seal and leaks. The bottom of pitcher is flat and blades only cover a little more than half the area. Some other pitchers I have seen slope to keep material going to blades. With this one unless pretty liquid the material sometimes forms a pocket in the center and the blade just spins with minimal contact. If I had it to do over I would not buy this appliance for this application. It may work fine for blending drinks or other liquids but for thicker things I say keep looking for something else

Potencia adecuada

Es muy potente, pero solo en las velocidades 4 y 5. La 3 es lo mismo que una licuadora de 300 watts, y 1 y 2 apenas logran girar unos cuantos tomates verdes. Las aspas tanto del vaso grande como los individuales son MUY afiladas, espero que duren asi. Es muy segura, no permite el uso sin que el vaso este perfectamente acoplado y tanto los botones de accion como la perilla de velocidad son solidos y suaves de manejar. En especial me gusta el material de los 3 vasos, no es simple plastico, es policarbonato muy solido que espero dure decadas. Las velocidades 1 a 3 son muy silenciosas, las 4 y 5 suenan como se espera, bastante ruido, pero aceptable.
