Finally using it and I love it
Hard to believe but I bought this about 2.5 or 3 years ago and never used it. I live in the Carolinas and several years back we got hit by Hurricane Matthew and then by Hurricane Florence after that. The flooding was so extreme with Florence that it took days before line crews could restore power to my area. I vowed then that I would never be caught again with no way to cook/make a hot beverage or heat wash water to fill a sink. Well, we've had storms since but the outages were pretty short and instead of pulling out this stove, I went the not so healthy, carb overload route of eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chips, cookies, etc. Fast forward to today when Hurricane Ian hit the Carolinas as only a Cat 1 but we lost power early...almost as soon as it made landfall. I'm an hour inland and was sure I'd have power most of the day. Was I ever wrong. I've been on ketogenic/carnivore/ketovore way of eating with improving health and I didn't want to fall back on bread. I also didn't want to live on pork rinds. I was kicking myself for underestimating a Cat 1 Hurricane and all I could think about was my steak that I'd pre-seasoned sitting in my powerless fridge and how much I'd love some hot black tea boiled with ginger and cinnamon with a touch of cream in it. Then I remembered this stove. I read the instructions about not using it indoors...although I saw in the comments that some people do apparently??? I've never used one of these so I didn't want to risk indoor use. I thought "I've got 99 problems and blowing myself up, dying of carbon monoxide poisoning, or setting my house on fire won't be one of them". Took it outside to my covered porch and about 8 or 9 minutes later, I had a perfectly juicy steak. While I ate my delicious steak and shared a tiny piece with my incessantly begging cat Jack, I put on a little pot of my low carb, lazy/easy rendition of hot Chai that I mentioned earlier. (Real Chai has cardamom and other spices that I was too lazy to dig out after work. Plus you are supposed to strain it but I say, just stop drinking when you hit the dregs.) I am sipping it and so grateful I had this burner. I'm ordering another so that I can have more than one thing going at once. Oh, and I can't leave out this most important part: The part where the flames come out is recessed so this little baby kept on cooking with 60 to 70 mph wind gusts and didn't blow out. My porch is covered but the sides are open so I'm amazed it kept going. Love it!!

Great for electric outage or outdoor cooking, no plug needed.
The GAS ONE GS-3000 Portable Gas Stove is a great outdoor cooking option. The stove is very compact and lightweight, making it easy to transport and store. The stove has a powerful 9,000 BTU burner that heats up quickly and cooks' food evenly. The built-in safety features, such as the automatic shut-off valve, provide peace of mind. This included carrying case makes it easy to bring the stove with you on camping trips or other events. Overall, this stove is a great value for its price and is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts or those in need of a portable cooking solution.

Great for cooking Korean BBQ at home
The media could not be loaded. I bought 2 to have KBBQ at home, will probably get a third soon because I have a huge family. Super easy to use. I should’ve bought the grills that include the propane because I did buy the wrong ones from the store at first. We set 2 up on the kitchen table to grill meats for Korean bbq night with the family. We have the windows open and fan above the table blowing cause I know the instructions say to not use indoors. I love that they have a carrying case so I always make sure to take the propane out before storing. They light quickly so we are able to start cooking right away. We use these about once a month.

Excellent for Daily & Emergency Use
I do a lot of Chinese and Japanese cooking. I wanted a stove I could use for indoor tabletop cooking and emergency use as our power gets disrupted on a regular basis for days to weeks by storms, trees falling, animals, and vehicles attacking phone poles. It needed to be safe to use, easy and reliable, and also be able to be used outside or in our large canvas tent. After much research I decided the GasOne Butane stove was the best for my needs. I also checked fuel and several Asian groceries carry 4 packs of the GasOne fuel cans for $5.99 to $6.99. Propane camp stoves are very unsafe for indoor use. It arrived 2 days before storms knocked out our power for 3 days. I tested it and found it's much hotter than my electric stove. It's perfect for using my woks on, both flat and round bottom, tiny to large saucepans and the 5 qt steel stewpot. In a power outage I like to make stir frys, a good, balanced meal can be cooked in 3-5 minutes total, especially if I cut everything a bit smaller for quicker cooking. Bannock, flatbreads and frybreads are also quick to cook. The first power outage after I got this, my husband came home to oil lamps, 2 solar stick lights moved inside for nightlights, a nice stirfry, hot coffee, and fried bannock bread for the next day's lunch. I put this on my glass top stove to use it, the kitchen window is on the next wall, about 7' away, and the living room window gives cross ventilation. This is a fantastic emergency stove. Things to note. This stove's safety lock is set up to use the notch in the collar of the GasOne fuel cans. I don't know if any other brand can be used, but I need to check. Try setting your heat lower than you think you need the first couple times. It's a very hot flame, and setting it between half and high boils water faster than High on my stove, and made the stay cool black handle on the kettle's top hot. I now use it at about 1/4 to 1/3 heat to boil water, lower to cook, barely on to simmer. Uses less fuel too. Even tho our house is all electric, I have 2 battery monoxide alarms in addition to the house's 4 battery smoke alarms. I also make sure a couple windows are open 2" or more for ventilation, even in winter, when using a non electric cooking or heat source, or the one mantle lantern. I highly recommend this stove. Update: Apparently all butane fuel cartridges have the notch and will fit this stove.

Very useful for power outages/winter
I live in Halifax and we get some pretty bad winters here. Last winter we had at least 5-6 multiple hour blackouts (including one that was nearly 12 hours in duration). Having this handy makes us feel a lot more at ease, works very well and allows us to cook during outages (out current stove is electric)

So glad I purchased this!
Fantastic! So glad I purchased this. I have used this many times during the summer and it's perfect. I purchased 5 cans of Butane at Walmart for less than $15.00 and I still have Butane in the first canister. Originally purchased this in case of power outages.

Purchased for a colleague that's getting started into more oriental style cooking. No complaints whatsoever and he says gas heats up really fast, even compared to induction. He did have to get an adapter for his wok, just to make sure it wouldn't tip over while using.

For Outdoor use only
I am satisfied with this product but just take note that on the actual package it's marked for outdoor use only and there is a carbon monoxide warning. So if I were to use it in indoors it would be near an open window or something

Perfect
I've only used this a few times, but it's perfect for my needs. I use it with cast iron pans 10" and 12" to cook burgers and steaks outside. Gets plenty hot enough! Easy to use and clean.
