Excellent for exercise - but use with discretion
I started using this around month 5-6 when I noticed I was getting really uncomfortable at the gym and it was a lifesaver!! It restored my posture and allowed me to resume my "normal" workouts (as normal as they are during pregnancy...ha!). Tip: I highly recommend wearing compression legs sleeves during workouts too - they kept my legs from feeling heavy and tired. As the baby got bigger and more active, however, I struggled with how to use this belt. Turned out, toward the end of the pregnancy, it probably would have been better forgoing the belt altogether since my little one likes to move so much. I think the belt does a great job holding the baby up and in place, but I had trouble with sharp abdominal pains that I am pretty sure were due to the baby wiggling into a funny position and then getting stuck by the belt. I'm at week 40 now and I've stopped wearing the belt. I think we're both more comfortable since he can squirm out of his funny positions just as easily as he can sqiurm into them. :) Bottom line: If you like to exercise and find you could use a little pick me up (or pick him/her up) during your pregnancy, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this belt, however I also recommend being open to discontinuing use etc. as the pregnancy progresses. Enjoy!

Supports that bump.
I'm 8 months pregnant and the baby is very low in my pelvis, which causes me all kinds of nerve pain. I bought this belt hoping it would help when I'm out shopping or walking a lot. I wore it the other day and I think it actually helped. It seemed to lift the baby up a little bit. It's very adjustable. I looked at the other reviews to guide me on which size to purchase. I'm 33 weeks, 185 lbs and I bought the large. It fits perfectly. I can make it as tight or as loose as I want it.

This belt saved me from disability!
Ladies, do your pregnant selves a huge favor and buy this thing! I have been amazed at the relief it provides. Unlike many reviewers here who suffer from back pain, this is my third pregnancy and I have developed terrible pelvic floor pain. (For those of you who also suffer from this, you know what I'm talking about.) During the weeks before I purchased this belt, I kept calling my doctor, telling her I couldn't stand for very long, couldn't go on walks with my kids, then couldn't even take a shower without needing to lie down afterwards to relieve the pain. Finally she suggested I buy a "maternity girdle." Not knowing what the heck that was, I of course went to Amazon. This belt has saved me. When I first purchased it I wore it only while on my feet, but it is so helpful that I now keep it at my bedside and strap it on first thing in the morning. The velcro straps are super quick to undo in the restroom (I just attach it across my chest temporarily to avoid having to set it down anywhere). Buy the black color so if it peeks out from under your top (hello third trimester) it will just look like a Home Depot type back support instead of a weird medical device. Wear a bella band underneath to keep the belt from getting sweaty against your skin. I browsed through the maternity support belts at Motherhood after buying this one and they seem less comfortable and more complicated (also nothing in black). I am 5' 3'' and was 118 pounds pre-pregnancy, now 142 pounds at 28 weeks. Based on other reviews I bought size medium. I pull it as tight as it can go, so it would have been too big earlier in my pregnancy, but the medium is okay because it will last me to the end. My pain is by no means gone; it is still difficult to make it all the way through Costco. But at least I can take care of my kids and do minimal housework until the baby arrives.

Meh?
I bought this at 24+weeks to continue spin class. Nobody wants to be forced to do kegels while exercising to not pee a little. All it did was make my baby go crazy kicking my bladder making the spinning class even more difficult. Tried it again once I was a little bigger at 28 weeks to keep going with the exercise and again same issue. It is however nice for around the house use for a little belly weight break. Fits well. I measured for the medium and debated about getting the large based on my gestation when I bought it as per the manufacturer's website size chart and recommendations. I ended up buying the medium and have to clinch it all the way tight to get any kind of support and it still buckles at my back a bit. Maybe it'll be nicer the closer I get to full term? But for now I don't love it, I don't hate it, It just doesn't really help with what I was hoping it would help with.

Awkward
Now that my belly is enormous, thanks to a baby who is measuring three weeks ahead, this is getting a little easier to wear. But earlier on, when I really needed both back and pelvis support, this belt was awkward. If it was supporting my back it wasn't tight enough to stabilize my pelvis. And if it was worn in a way that stabilized my pelvis it would get too tight and I would feel pinching in my pubic joint. I bought this so that I could do ballet and Pilates more comfortably while pregnant, and it just didn't work out. I also cannot wear it comfortably while sitting down, which means I have to take it off and put it back on a lot throughout the day. It really only works comfortably for long periods of walking. Otherwise, it's just a hassle.

excellent support for exercise
I bought this after reading the various reviews on here, round about 24 weeks of my pregnancy as it seemed from the reviews that's when others found it useful. When I first tried it on, I was really not convinced, it felt really uncomfortable and hindered my range of movement, so I packed it up and was prepared to return it to Amazon. Luckily for me, I didn't get round to posting it and about a month later, once a proper bump had really started to emerge and I was finding it more uncomfortable running, I decided to give it another bash and it worked a treat, providing support to keep running, walking and generally active during the rest of my pregnancy. Without a doubt, it has allowed me to keep active during my pregnancy by providing my belly with a bit of decent support when I need it.

Seems to work
I used this from 17-18 weeks when I started getting ligament twinges and it helped so much. Now at 31 weeks and still running 5 times a week. I realise the difference it makes because although a long run still feels fine, I get aches if I’m out walking all day and don’t wear it! Wish it wasn’t so pricey though. Pocket at the back is very handy - fits an iPhone and more.

Would definitely recommend
This belt is genius! It allowed me to keep running until I was 32 weeks pregnant and then I used it to support my bump while I was out on walks. I can not recommend it enough. The sizes are a little confusing. I ended up getting a medium size which lasted my whole pregnancy. I was a size 10/12 before I became pregnant. I did have to return the small size as I thought there wouldn't be much room to "grow" in it. The seller provided a prompt refund although it is a shame I had to pay for P&P twice. For the price of one months gym membership I think this was a great buy that allowed me to keep fit and active throughout my pregnancy.

Returned this item
I thought i would buy this item to try out as i wasn't sure whether it would be something i would want to wear. I didn't feel comfortable wearing this belt so i returned it. But I had to pay £4 to return so please think twice before buying. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend buying this product.

So far, so good
I ordered this to help with pelvic girdle pain. I am currently 7 months pregnant. I liked this model over others due to the extra straps at the side to adjust the level of compression/support. It's hard to use sitting so only using for walking at the moment. Removing a star as the hot/cold pack is not included which I expected it to be.
