Works as advertised

I have the bibs to match and use them fishing. It rained most of the winter here out West and the two days every week I used them they never leaked plus blocked the wind. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend them for is hunting because they are noisy when moving. Other than that I’d buy them again or recommend them to someone not wanting to invest a large amount of money in Gore-Tex or similar products.

Well made

Looks well made. Ordered a 2 x to fit over a fleece or a heavy sweatshirt. Fits perfect. Have not been in a heavy rain just light rain. Kept me dry. Would recommend and buy again if needed.

Best wear for working at the racetrack!

I volunteer as a flag marshal in Florida where one second it rains and the next one it's humid and hot. This is a breathable hands down the best rain gear one could get for my region. Several people suggested me to go with frogg toggs and I have zero regrets. Keep up the good job guys!

Great for Train Wrecking

Bought this for my husband to wear at work when it’s raining. He’s a train wrecker so hi-vis is required. The jacket is definitely lightweight, but also somewhat suffocating which can be expected with any type of heavier duty waterproof material. Overall a good buy and we ended up ordering the pants with it too. My husband is 6’0 and weighs 155-160. I ordered him a size Large in the jacket and a Medium in the pants- both fit perfectly loose enough to wear over a shirt and work jeans.

Size

I shrunk my old frogg togg jacket in the laundry so I wanted to replace it. This jacket was a little more than what I was expecting and I was pleased. However, I wanted a larger size and there was only one color that was big enough (3 XL) so I got it. However it is a bit tight around the waistband and you have to hike it up to get the zipper to start then pull it back down. Otherwise it fits good. Maybe if there were a 4 XL available then it might be big enough for extra layers.

Nice material, great color

The fabric feels somewhere between the super slick raincoat material and a heavier, canvas like feel. It's not super slick, but it's not very heavy either. There's a slight "grippy" feel to the fabric. I think it's an excellent compromise. Seems well made and fits well, nothing skimpy about the fit. Purchased for teen son who goes to his bus early in the morning, sometimes when it's still dark. Much prefer bright orange color to the blacks, grays, navy blues I see in many jackets. A dark rainy morning is a time when you want your kids visible. Looks great on and I'm very satisfied with purchase.

it keeps you dry, but ...........

I could swear the first time I wore in rain with a short-sleeve shirt on underneath, that it was leaking--felt cold/ clammy---Amazon sent (at no cost) another jacket and it was the same-----I now feel that it is the cold rain that feels wrong----so, I guess it doesn't leak but you have to wear long sleeve shirt underneath

Exactly what we needed

This is a truly waterproof jacket. I bought it for my grandson to use when camping. I should have sized dswn (it's a little bit too big) but that was my fault because he is a skinny 16 year old kid. I kept it because the cuffs tighten and he can wear it over a sweatshirt, then grow into it. I really think it is true to size; I went to a large rather then medium because he is tall and needed it quickly with no time to return. Better too big than too small. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy again.
