Melted aluminum foil on bottom of oven fix!!
Ok, so I just moved into a house and the bottom of the oven had the paint scraped. I decided just in case, to line the bottom of the oven with aluminum foil. Yup, didn't know that new ovens have the heating element underneath, so it MELTED the aluminum foil. I scraped what I could off, but didn't feel safe cooking in the oven. I went on line & found the part needed. The hardest part of changing out the bottom panel was figuring out what to use. I've never used power tools, so I'm unfamiliar. After multiple attempts I found the right fit. I included pics of my screw, with square (not hexagon), I found the bit, and also the screw part. I took pictures of both, because I have no idea what they are called! ???? After I got the piece out, I wedged a serving spoon under one side, then lifted & wiggled it out. Putting in the new piece was easy! I re-screwed the bolts in & viola! You can't even tell that I was the stupid person who melted tin foil on her new oven!

So easy to install!
Since I put or should I say my husband put tinfoil at the bottom it wouldn't come off no matter what he did. So we decided to replace it the price was great compared to other companies!! My oven looks new! Took all but 10 minutes to do it. He did take the oven door off to make it easier to get the back screws off

This fit perfectly! My husband (70yrs old) installed it in under a half hour! Not that I would ever put tin foil on the bottom of my oven again (eyeroll)... but if I do... This is the answer! :)

Fits perfectly
When installing, the two screws in the back were a little difficult to get out...basically because the head of the screw had a square hole in the center instead of a flat line screw or phillips head type. I had to use a small wrench because I didn't have the right tool. It worked though. I also had to take off the door to get back there to get at them. The door was very easy to take off and put back on so I managed. There were videos online that showed exactly had to install the plate and remove the door. All in all, I was happy with the purchase. Installation took me about 1/2 hour.

YES THIS COLOR IS WHAT YOU"RE LOOKING FOR
This is described as "black" and it might just be, however when the models of ovens it fits is opened, the interior color often appears almost like a midnight blue(very dark almost black, blue). After taking a chance on the order, I was pleased to discover YES the color IS in fact the right interior color-match. It does of course immediately transform the oven to like-new. Two screws at the rear cavity and be very careful not to chip/drag/scratch- you must tip the inner edge up into the oven to maneuver the thing carefully out. Fast and easy. Only drawback is pricy item, but can't be helped since the MFR establishes retail, is what it is. Good one.
