I bought several (8+ colors) of these tees for my toddler son recently, and they washed nicely. I bought a size larger after reading other reviews, and I agree they run small - at least compared to Gymboree, which is the brand I buy the most. If you're familiar with the Children's Place sizing, French Toast tops are probably comparably sized. I don't think they're running as small as the Old Navy basic tees I've seen in the past year or two. I am impressed by the consistent sizing of these, and how they don't wrinkle if removed from the dryer and hung up right away. I wash wrong side out, and hang, or lay most things flat to dry in order to save from extra wear and tear, fading, and from setting in any stains I may have missed. The colors are all what I expected from the photos and color names with the glaring exception of the Autumn color that appeared to me as a golden yellow but arrived as a bright, bold orange. In fact the attached tag read "BRT ORANGE". I didn't realize until I had already removed the tag because I had bought so many colors at the same time, and I thought I had ordered the orange color as well, when I hadn't. So, I ordered the "Autumn..." color a 2nd time, hoping to get the more yellow color pictured, along with a few more colors, but that one was the same bright orange. It got donated. I have not bought the orange color out of fear that I might end up with 3 shirts of the same color! Maybe it's actually yellow? I like these basic, v-neck tees for layering under button down shirts, sweaters, or hoodies, paired with plaid or otherwise patterned shorts, or under overalls. They seem soft, comfortable, and durable. The fabric is a nice, medium weight, and of better quality than Old Navy or Children's Place tees, for example. These would also be the perfect shirts if you're looking into crafty ideas, such as tie dye, rubber stamping, applique or embroidery, iron on transfers, etc. If you're looking for a very specific color to coordinate with other wardrobe pieces, chances are good you'll find it here, and at a reasonable price with fast Prime shipping! As a brand snob that was hesitant before buying, I'm very pleased, and now plan to buy these in multiple colors every season and/or size increase, as long as the quality and bargain pricing remains!
