Very itchy, but super cute

My son was playing John Hancock in a school play. I planned to make his costume until we found this while looking for ideas. I couldn’t make a costume for the price of this! The fabric is thin and very scratchy, but he wore clothes under it so that didn’t bother him. The costume is very cute! It is cheap and the quality isn’t the greatest, but for one time use it’s perfectly fine for the price.

Good costume for an event

Bought this costume for my son's Colonial Days celebration at school. After reading the reviews, I decided to order a size larger and it fit him perfectly. It is cheaply made, but this isn't also meant to be an every day wear item, so it worked just fine for the event. He was happy to have a costume, and I was happy to not have to make him one. I would recommend this costume for an event like this or Halloween.

Great costume for a play or book report

Great costume for a book report on Thomas Jefferson. Has red jacket and blue pants. Fit my rather large 11 year old perfectly and he weighs almost 90 so we bought a large. Very happy with the costume. It also comes with boot tops and a ruffle collar. I am glad I just ordered it. I have come to realize that for everything on Amazon you can buy ...someone is always going to give it a 1 star and sometimes I just ignore it. I'm glad I did!! It's not going to be high dollar exceptional quality. Most kids will wear this a few hours once or twice. I was impressed with the detail. Would buy it again. everyone loved it!

Size

My daughter is 52" and about 68 lbs, and a size medium (8-10) fit her perfectly. The pants were just a smidge long, but once you put those boot things on it didn't matter. Very pleased.

Great costume for the price!

I ordered this costume for my son for a school presentation. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as quality was concerned but I was pleasantly surprised when this costume arrived. Once I pressed the costume it looked great! Included in the package is the jacket. pants, "boot" covers and the neck scarf. My son had to give a presentation on George Washington so this costume was great! Looks good. Worked well for his presentation as King George III, along with a wig by the same company. He didn't wear the boot covers. It looks good and would work for an occasion or two, but isn't the highest quality if you're looking for a long-term dress-up option.
