Orange flame not quite realistic
Not as realistic as the similar pillar candles. The color is very orange (even more so in person than in the picture I’m posting). The main issue is that the glow from the flame abruptly ends an inch down the taper. I really hope they re-engineer these because I love the concept.

Awesome and unique!! (which is why they're a bit expensive)
These things are so amazing - i was floored at how at first i woldn't have been able to tell it wasn't a real candle at first. (although you can tell it's not an ordinary candle when you see light creeping up the walls that don't hit the "flame screen" that the light is supposed to catch. So how do they do it? Picture the candle "frame", picture a small flame-shaped "screen" that moved like a bobblehead on top. Add in a "bobble-head" like moving flame light inside the candle and boom.. you have a moving flickering "candle-light flame" on the candle. They're awesome and set a perfet mood or ambient lighting for night time, walking thru the house, etc. But since they're so unique - they're aso expensive (which you won't care once you have them they're so cool). Beyond the candle-light magic, it fits great into a wall socket and is SMALL and tidy and ONLY takes up 1 outlet - so you're not wasting 2 outlets for 1 little candle.

These screw into a normal lightbulb socket for both regular bulb base and candelabra size
These are amazing and look super real.

Realistic candle
The flameless candle nightlight is very realistic and provides great ambiance. Emits enough light to see in the dark but not overly bright. It does flicker as described which adds to the look. Very pleased with this purchase

Electric version of moving flame battery candles
In general, I feel that the Mistique moving flame candles provide a good value. These versions maintain the realistic moving flame while providing options to mount in standard or candelabra electric lamps. Look great in my walk sconces.

A Good Imitation of a Luminara Night Light
It's a good imitation of a Luminar night light. It's very nice and does the job but the "flame" is a little too active and you can hear a subtle pop frequently. It's a noise made by the moving "flame." You don't have either problem with a Luminara. I wish Amazon would sell the original.

Maybe I'm just spoiled?&Luminara set is CHEAPER!
I own 35 or so Luminara candles so when I saw they came out with night lights, I HAD to have them! QVC had been out of stock for a long while so I figured I would give these a try. (Price comparison, the Luminaras are cheaper when buying a set). These ones are very cute and realistic looking. However, instead of a gentle flame motion, these have something spinning inside to give a 'flick' making the flame 'jerk' suddenly, slow down, then 'jerk' again when 'flicked'?Not only does it ruin the appearance, you can HEAR the 'flick' as well. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I am returning to purchase my Luminara set...which again are CHEAPER@ 39.50 for the set of 2! Hope this helps.
