Receptacle is ok but the Type-C port not charging New Ipad Pro

The Plug is nice and easy for my daughter to plug in her Ipad pro tablet with out having to plug in her charger block in the outlet. Once I received it I charged her tablet and it looked like it was charging but then noticed it had stopped and it was draining her tablet. I noticed it was not showing u the charging symbol on the tablet. I then plugged in my iPhone and it charged just fine. I then purchased a TYPE-C to USB male adapter converter and plugged in thru the USB port and looks like her Tablet is charging. I am not sure if the Port-C has less Amps then the USB port but they both have power. Like I said Type-C will charge my iPhone but not an Ipad Pro. The USB Will charge your Ipad pro if you get and adapter. In this case just buy a plug with 2 USB ports and not with one and one. The pictures I attach the iPad is charged 100% but it should still say charging. One is connected TYPE-C not charging and one is connected USB with adapter and is charging. I hope this helps.

USB - C

USB-C Port seems to not function. Other ports work fine. Update: USB-C Port worked for phones, but not to charge my iPad Mini.

Easy to install and works perfectly!

Right out of the box it was very simple to replace my existing GFI outlet with this. I've been looking for ones with built in USB ports and this was the best price by far!!. Simply look in your circuit breaker box to determine if you need 15AMP or 20AMP. Easy peasy. I plugged a lamp into the old outlet to make sure that I cut off service to that outlet. Take the old one out and note where the wires are on the old, and put in the new. This one only had one screw on each side, where the old one had two. But then by straightening the wires they slide into the two holes on the back on each side and get tightened down with the single screw. I couldn't be happier.

A must have in today's world

The outlets with 2 USB ports is a must have considering how many electronic devices we all own that need charging. The blue light on the outlet is bright enough to be a night light....which is good except for the fact that I have one on the wall beside my bed...need to put a piece of tape over that so it doesn't shine in my eye! We have put at least 2 of these in every room of our house. Also, they are much less expensive here, than buying them from Home Depot!!!!

Great for adding USB ports for cameras

I needed to add an outlet under my deck to power outdoor cameras (Wyze V2), and rather than use two power-bricks to convert 120V-AC to 5V-DC, I decided to go this route. It works VERY well, and I still have two 120V-AC outlets to use for other things, such as rope-lights for the holidays. I've had this installed for several months (in a weather-proof housing), and it has been working very well. The cameras receive the proper voltage/amps to operate 24/7, and I will not hesitate to purchase more of these outlets to add USB connections where I need them. This outlet is actually cheaper than buying a plug-in wall-wart that does the same thing (and wastes an outlet)... and looks better, too!

These are FINE--emphasis on fine. I've changed out a lot of plugs. These weren't the easiest to install. They weren't terribly complicated either, but the screws and stuff gave me some challenges. I installed both. A few days later, one simply quit working. It was still getting power from the cable in the wall, but the actual plug wasn't working anymore. No idea why. The other one seems to be doing well, but I'll wait and see. I'm a little frustrated because I threw away the old plug when I replaced it with this one, and now it's quit working, and I find myself needing to replace it AGAIN. Probably worth getting something a little more trustworthy.

Great wall plug!

Works pretty well! Appearance is clean, comes with wall plate so you have everything you need to perform a quality install. Installation was easy and straight forward. Just push in the two ends of your black wires into their respective side (which is marked clearly) and tighten the screw, do the same for the white wires, and wrap the neutral around the screw at the bottom and tighten. Attach to the wall as normal and within 5 minute your done. Both standard plugs and USB plugs work well. I like that the USB sockets are asymmetrical. Depending on what else you have plugged in that helps ensure at least one of the USB ports is left open. No complaints whatsoever.

Works well, just not for what I was looking for

This may sound crazy, but I was hoping for a USB charger I could use to charge my smart watch while using my hair dryer. Unfortunately, this didn’t work for that. The oversized plug for the hair dryer hangs over the USB ports. Of course I can unplug my hair dryer and charge my watch overnight, but that wasn’t the intent of buying the plug. Make sure to measure for what you’re looking to use this for.

Olvídate de los cargadores

Tomacorriente de pared, con capacidad de carga rápida con la mayoría de dispositivos, se recomienda chalupa de plástico para no generar daños en la instalación. El tomacorriente está protegido y los 2 puertos USB me permiten ahorrar una toma al eliminar el cargador. Los puertos USB cumplen con su cometido, la carga rápida funciona con dispositivos compatibles, tablets, iPad, tiras de luz LED, entre otros. Recomendado ampliamente.

Ya instalados cumplen su proposito.

Compre 1 paquete de 6 unidades y una pieza venia quebrada de la esquina. Es un poco complicado conectar ya que la conexión es por la parte de atrás y si tienes poco espacio tienes que doblar mucho el cable. Ya instalados son muy prácticos y puedes conectar clavijas estándar pequeñas y los conectores usb. Cargan muy bien y la luz indicadora se mantiene encendida permanentemente.

Fácil pero falla

Instale uno en la recámara y otro en la cocina, este último para alimwntar la campana de la estufa, en 6 meses dejaron de funcionar los contactos, solo trabaja el USB. El de la recámara está sin problemas hasta ahora

Es un poco grande, en las cajas tamaño standar cuesta un poco de trabajo meterlo, pero conectarlo es fácil, el usb es carga lenta. Pero funciona bien
