I had one of these years ago and have been looking for them a long time

Theses squeegee's are very strong and true to clean a window . I use these to clean and clear the windshield in my pickup 's They work great and last for a VERY long time !

I like the 10 inch better

I have several size of different Ettore squeegees, I started with this 8-inch model on my master bathroom shower glass. Like all the other Ettore squeegees I have, this one works great! Since my shower is pretty big, I decided to try the 10-inch model and donate the smaller ones to my other bathrooms and to me, the 10-inch and up is better for a big space. But f you don't have too much area to cover, this model is fine. It's a little utilitarian looking next to my marble shower, but I am okay with that since it dries the glass and walls so nicely. Also, I use two clear suction hooks to rest the squeegee against the wall that is "hidden" from the main view into the shower, so I don't see it unless I am in the shower or using it. (Yeah, I'm weird like that). Cheap squeegees you find at Target or other similar sources do not compare. And yes it does squeak as you run it along glass, but I don't see how that can be avoided if you want a tool that works so well.

Nice squeegee for a little while...might be better on flat surfaces.

I purchased this squeegee to wipe down my shower stall after showering in hopes of cutting down on soap scum buildup between cleanings. My shower stall has some curves and built in shelves so it can be a pain to squeegee everything perfectly but this squeegee is on the smaller size and it's perfect for my needs. I've only used it 2 times but it works nicely so far. I also like that I could attach a pole to it and use it on windows. **EDIT** I've been using this squeegee on my shower for about a month and a half now, nearly daily, and it has started to leave more and more streaks of water behind. This makes it difficult to use since I have to go back to get what it leaves behind. I also would prefer if it was a little flexible for going across the slight curves of the shower stall. I'll probably be looking for another option soon...

Ettore Squeegees. 8", 12" and 18".

We bought the Ettore 8-inch, 12-inch and 18-inch squeegees all at the same time to replace some older squeegees that were from a different manufacturer and which had long since outlived their usefulness. By having three different widths at hand it makes it very easy to do our windows and sliding glass doors, especially when the sizes of the panes of our windows are considerably different depending upon which room you're doing. From everything I can tell, the squeegees are well made and the rubber part of the squeegee adequately removes water from the glass. The 8-inch and 12-inch models are of aluminum. The 18-inch version is brass.

Made in America

Truthfully, the reason I bought this one over the slicker plastic-y ones, is that this one was the only one I came across that was Made in America. Good enough for me!!! And, it does what it's designed to do..... clean my windows. the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it's really smaller than I would have liked. Otherwise, if you can avoid cheap Chinese crap, and care about jobs here in the USA, then this is for you.

Decent, Rugged, Easy to Maintain

Pros: The size may be too small for some people but it is perfect for an average sized window or mirror, or my shower doors which is what I use it for. Simple metal construction means simple cleaning and it is fairly rugged, plus the price is cheap enough for me to replace this fairly often if the rubber starts to break down. Cons: It is kind of chunky, especially the handle, but function over fashion in this case and it works well. Overall: Good value for a good piece of product for what it is: a small squeegee.

Works Great, Lasts a Very Long Time

I use this squeegee for my car windows. It works better and lasts much longer than any squeegee you can buy at any auto store. I used a 6-inch model for more than 30 years before I lost it somewhere. I only had to change out the rubber part only once in 30 years. I actually prefer the 6-inch than the 8-inch, because you can get into smaller areas and mirrors with it. The 8-inch works well, but has not actual advantage over the 6-inch due to the curves in the car windows.

Cleans windows quickly and will not rust or break

Cleans windows as you would expect but when you step on it on the floor it does not break. Fits on to a broom handle very strongly for those high glass areas on my Truck. Seems to work better if the handle is extended (wooden handle) as the metal handle is a bit short for large hands. Size of the blade is not too big so you can clean between the window panes of my truck and car. In short well worth the wait for this product as it is well built and can be fitted with a wooden handle, plus when you as you always do drop it on the floor and then step on it the blade does not break. Love to all martin

Great quality

Love it. Leaves no marks. I also own a wide version that I use for large windows but this size is great for the narrow window sections of our bay windows.
