Comparison of 3.4 cup/2 cup/1.75 cup containers

I wanted to get the perfectly sized lunch container for myself, so I ended up ordering the 3.4, 2 and 1.75 cup size containers. Overall the glass thickness and silicone quality seemed great for the 3.4 and 2 cup containers, but was poorer for the 1.75 cup one. I pack a medium-sized meal for lunch and I felt the 1.75 cup size falls short for that. The 3.4 cup seemed like the perfect size for packing a full-sized lunch meal. So, if you pack a decent sized lunch and are looking for the ideal container, definitely go for this one. (See attached images with a coke can to get an idea of the size). I personally ended up going for the 2-cup container. Even though it was a bit compact on size, it weighed quite a bit lighter than the 3.4 cup (which honestly, would be quite heavy to carry to work on a daily basis). Hence, the choice. I do hope this review helps others who are in a similar conundrum!

I love this glass container. I use this for my work lunch as I do not want to heat up my food in a plastic container. Easy to clean, but drying takes a while. So after I take it out from the dishwasher I usually would let it dry in the drying rack.

Best Container for Meal Prep

I bought the pink version because I had bought my boyfriend a navy blue one at Target. I wanted to have the same container but in a different color and I stumbled upon this pink one. It’s such a high quality container. The silicone on the outside does not melt in the microwave and it has been really easy to wash. Even when I took all the silicone pieces out to wash it, it was easy to put back together. I love the glass containers as well.

Lid came broken…

I don’t know if it was packaging issue or lid is actually not that durable. It wasn’t worth the risk so I didn’t get a replacement.

I love the pink color looks great in person! The only thing I would say is it is a little smaller than I expected however,I still love it. Would definitely purchase again .

Listing is inaccurate with dimensions.

This produce it not accurately described and way over priced in my opinion. I purchased this item, shipment was delayed and then finally delivered to the wrong address. I needed it ASAP and went to target where it was so much less with a pack of 3 of various sizes. The dimensions are 7x5x2”. And is NOT 8"L x 8"W x 2"H as in listing. The larger size cost less than this item. I love Ello products and have everything from baking dishes, drinking cups to wine cups and everything seems to hold up. Only rating two stars less because of price of almost $12 and the size is inaccurately described.

Ordered this for my lunches at work! They are very high quality, cute and hold up! Would recommend!
