Nice shoes, but are very narrow. My wife has very small feet, yet these are tight l.

Run very narrow. Need to have wider models.

Disappointed

Shoes were size larger but still too tight. Very difficult hooking to pedal. Not even using anymore on bike. Back to using running shoes. Would not recommend

Way too narrow

These are sold as unisex and they shouldn’t be. I wear normal men’s shoes, not wide shoes or anything, and these Echelon shoes are way too narrow. I’ve tried everything to stretch them out and it’s helped a bit. When I’m in a ride I’ll get foot pain and have to stop riding to stretch out my foot. This is terrible when you are in a groove. I’m past being able to return them which sucks. 2 stars because I do at least think they are well made. But if you are a guy or a girl with wide feet, do NOT get these.

Comfortable and well designed

I'm have 12 or 12.5 sized foot with medium width so I ordered a size 13 and these fit me great. It's nice that the clips are included and recessed so that you can easily walk in these athletic, nice-looking shoes. They're not too stiff to walk in, though they're not really meant for anything other than cycling. The removable insole is perforated for extra breathability which I thought was a nice touch.

Broken after only a few rides

I was happy with my shoes for a little bit. However, then the straps would constantly need to be tightened mid ride and I would sometimes just choose to wear my regular sneakers on my Echelon bike. I wore them today and the metal part that holds the strap on the shoe just snapped mid ride so there was no way of tightening my strap. It just hung there. I bought them in January rode with them maybe 20 times. They have a window to return, but I’m out of it now and the purpose of the review is to let people know if you spend the money they could break and you’ll be stuck with them because the return window is fairly small.

Just OK spin shoes…

I am finding these shoes to be just OK at best. First of all the advice to order a full size app is an error, maybe a half size at most would work. The cleat is not recessed deep enough and still clacks on the ground when you walk. The shoes overall are heavy and clunky. They are wide at the heel and the heel will actually hit the crank of the bike if the cleat is not adjusted perfectly. They are also wide at the front of the shoe and will hit the crank arm if you do not move the cleat all the way to the inside of the shoe . These shoes are a copy/rip off of the “Tiem” shoes. The only reason I did not buy that brand is because they are made only for women but now I am going to just find out which women’s size fits me and run with it! Unfortunately I kept these things around more than 30 days and they will have difficulty returning them. Like I said two out of five stars at best they are good but far from great.

Run very small.

I was very excited to purchase these shoes… I sized up one full size like the Echelon website suggests - and they were still way too small. I would have had to sized up two to three full sizes which is pretty inconsistent to the site. Leads me to question authenticity. Ultimately returned and ordered direct from Echelon with zero issues.
