Works great

This kit worked beautifully to fit the stripped-out threads on the $500 piece of equipment I was repairing. I can feel that the repair is far stronger than the original threads. You can feel the threads in the aluminum start to give as you are tightening in the un-damaged holes. In the repaired holes you can tighten to your hearts content.

Needs tiny hex wrench

Instructions say to adjust this stop on the installation tool but this set screw is TINY and most home hex wrench sets don't have this size. It would be nice if they tossed in a small hex wrench for this (I need to go buy one today). Other than that it seems I have everything I need for the job, Will use the set later today to install a bracket on a fiberglass boat seat. Hoping for the best.

Works but not very sturdy installer.

The installer tool was pinched together at the end. When I tried to spread the legs back out one of them broke off. It still works, but is disappointing.

Hard time finding small 32 tools below 10/32

Found these at a decent price and worked very well for my application. So I bought all the 32nd sizes, 10/32 8/32 6/32

Wrong Drill Bit Supplied

The Drill bit that was supplied with the kit was a #35 while the package indicated it should have been 11/64. It was quickly obvious that the #35 was too small, as the tap wouldn't even start in the hole. An 11/64 was used and worked perfectly.

Everything needed to install is included. Easy installation, coil locks in well & insert is stronger than original threaded aluminum.
