Ridiculously fragile prop shaft, unreliable bearings, lousy mount.
I've bought two of these motors for my RC planes. They're light and fast as others have said, but even a minor crash will bend the prop shaft beyond repair. To give an idea, the last "fatal" crash my latest motor suffered involved a flat landing on the wheels in grass at about 15mph. The grass caught in the gear and the plane rolled up over its nose onto its back. The plane was a micro foam plane, weighing about 1/2 pound. The airframe was totally fine, but when I lightly throttled up to check the prop shaft alignment - sure enough, it now has a slight wobble. Also, as others have mentioned, the mount for this motor uses a shifty set screw that's slipped on me before due to vibration after the prop shaft got a tiny bit bent, resulting in the motor shooting out of the mount mid-flight, and the forcing an emergency landing (which further bent the dangling prop shaft). After my latest incident, I decided to rip the old plane apart and built a new plane using the motor as a pusher, hopefully to avoid any more incidents that could involve the prop shaft striking the ground in any way. Unfortunately, the vibrations from the prop shaft now appear to have damaged the bearings, so the motor tends to partially lock up at certain speeds. Overall, there are many better options out there both in terms of reliability and price. While the weight to performance for this motor is great, I can't recommend it over other 250 size motors. UPDATE: The new pusher plane ended up burning out the old motor completely after about a week of use. Replaced with Emax Mt1804 which works great, runs cooler, and doesn't have a wet strand of spaghetti for a prop shaft.

For it's size this is a potent motor. I was surprised by its performance for its weight but all of this comes at a price. First of all, it is expensive-more expensive than motors of the same or even higher output for its weight. The mount for this motor is rather odd. It is a tube that the rear of the motor fits into. Because this motor was used in a tractor position (the motor is forward in the plane) there is a tendency for the motor to pull out unless the mounting screw is really torqued down. The fragility of the motor makes this nerve wracking for me. The hair-like lead wires are very very fragile AND brittle and have broken off on two occasions. Soldering these microscopic wires are a chore to say the least.

Powerful little brushless motor.
E-flite never disappointed with the small size and power of this motor. I use theses for small 3D acrobatic planes.

Excellent little motor.
Excellent little motor. I have this motor on a e-flite grasshopper and, as of today, I have flown the plane 87 times (I keep a fly record book) without problems. I only crashed the plane once but the motor did not suffer any damage. It is light but, it does the job right; at the end it is on a grasshopper and not in a Mig-21....I'm just saying ;>)

Delivery time as promised, arrived in good condition
I read some reviews, which complained about the difficulty to push the shaft thru the rotor (modification). I use the lathe chuck together with the drill stock to move it, this always works fine.

Small but high power brushless motor. I put this one in a yak55 superlite series by RC factory.
