Good shoe.
I'm a mailman. These boots are comfortable, light and provide good support. They last me about a year and a half. I've owned about six pair so far. Would recommend

Squeaky and a bit loose in the toe area. Also the rollbar imprint at the heel fell off
We have over half a dozen Dunham shoes and so far this is the most disappointing (not as highly rated as the others). I have worn it over 25 times in the last year since its purchase. Here are the following reasons why it deserves only a 3 and not a 4 or 5 on the rating scale. 1) The sole on the right shoe was defective to begin with. It was slightly bulging on the front step, the rubber had excess material so it looks deformed when viewed from above. I thought it had nothing much to do with the walk, until 2) it started squeaking after half a year of use. I suspect it could be the insole but it squeaks on any smooth surface, lesser if carpet or soil. The squeak is annoying enough to draw attention when walking inside offices or the mall. 3) The Rollbar support (the one with the imprint) on the heel detached less than a year of use, and I stuck it back with Shoe Goo but it still came off. As a result, the cushioning isn't as good anymore and the squeaking got worse. 4) the ankle area isn't padded well enough, so when you tighten the shoelaces it constricts the blood flow in the veins of the ankle 5) the toe area (size EE) is wider than expected. I have another Dunham Chukka (similar construction but low cut) which is D width and it's slightly tight. What I would need is something in between these two widths and it would be perfect fit in the toe area. Having said that, this is still a good shoe. Its winning qualities are that 1) it's waterproof 2) thick leather 3) comfortable except for the squeak. I just wasn't as lucky as I noticed the flaws immediately after opening but I couldn't return it (I am based abroad so the return window has lapsed). That's why I select shoes carefully since I don't have the return window opportunity (it takes over a month to ship this abroad from my USA address). And the Dunham brand has generally been better than most other casual shoe brands, and at par with Clarks and Rockport, though more reasonably priced.

Nice and wide
So I got these in the widest possible width so I can wear them with my three pairs of socks to help ease my foot pain while working. And they fit great and are waterproof.

If you need an extra large toe box, these will do it.
Very wide toe box. After I had surgery on my foot, and had swelling and a stiff 3/4 length orthotic, I needed a shoe that had room in the toe box. These shoes had a very roomy toe box, and worked. I doubled the socks on my swollen foot. Once the swelling in my foot went down, I could have just worn extra thick socks with these shoes in the winter time, and put in a pair of extra cushion gel insoles. However, for the price, they weren't all that great. I only walked about 10 miles in these shoes and the soles are wearing pretty quickly. Sure they will be good for another 30-40 miles, but really? Why can't they put tough rubber on the bottom of a shoe anymore.

GREAT SHOE - just didn't quite work for me.
I'm wearing Dunham Incline 12EEEE. Best boot I've ever owned, but they appear to be discontinuing. This was my first attempt at replacement. GREAT QUALITY BOOT - typical of Dunham! DOESN'T QUITE FIT ME CORRECTLY. It's not a critique of "too small" or "too large". I have narrow heel, extremely high arches (orthotics), and need a really wide metatarsal-spread tow-box. This boot would fit most quite well. For me it's slips too much in the rear, so up-sizing wouldn't help without serious insert-modification to stabilize my narrow heel (in addition to it's built-in heel stabilizer, which works well) . Others may agree, however, that the OVERLAPPING SEAM ACROSS FOREFOOT does DIG-IN on instep (again, my high arch made this a deal-killer). COLOR: Watch your screen color. This boot is a much lighter Brown than it appeared on-screen (compare multiple-sourced pictures).

Wonderful pair of shoes
I've only received them today, but right out of the box I can see real quality. I wear a 12M, and when you see shoes in a store they usuall display a 7 or 8 that looks very pleasing. When it gets to the boat size of 12, they almost always look like different shoes, with all of the accompanying mars, discolorations, and glue marks. Not so here. This is a really nice boot. And I couldn't believe it when I put them on. Truly comfortable on both feet. I was a bit hesitiant about ordering shoes online, but Amazon really came through on this one. In fact, I learned something. These shoes were never tried on before- as far as I can tell. No little knotty balls of someone else's socks in the shoe lining, and no sloppily packed box with laces array and paper strewn. This was new. I liked that. This could become a habit. I do have another pair of shoes coming from Amazon, and if they are presented as well as these, I'm in to a whole new way of buying shoes.

Wow, I never knew such comfort
This is my first pair of Dunhams and first pair of 6Es. I have been missing out on both fronts. These are very comfortable shoes, but I did have to use a pair of trusty insoles to achieve maximum comfort. Also, the picture in the description is not very accurate. These shoes are much lighter in color out of the box. Though as with other brown leather boots I have had in the past, they will darken with time. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend these to anyone, especially those with very wide feet. One more note: these are cut a tad small. In athletic shoes, I typically wear a 4E and a 4E in this shoe would have likely been too narrow.

For Dunham, 12 XXwide is 6E. This is not so for many other so called "wide" footwear brands.
I have very wide feet due to a medical condition and therefore have difficulty finding footwear. Dunham XXwide is a 6E. Many other brands claiming extra width,(XXwide), are actually 5E, which is to tight... ie Prophet.

Decent boots.
Wore out a squeak in the right shoe, left shoe still squeaks after 5 month of daily wear. Will neet to go see a cobbler to get it fixed right. Fits as expected.

Perfect comfort
This is my second pair in 6 years and you can't beat the comfort. Also great in all weather conditions.
