Holiday towels

I have a few sets of DII dishtowels. These seem a little gauzy compared to my others, but they are pretty. Love the sparkle. I you are looking for a some festive towels in white, gold and silver, these should work for you. I would likely use them as a low or no use towel. My others function fine, but with these seeming to be a little more dainty AND having the embellishments, I am not sure how well they will "wash and wear". I expect a little bit of shrinkage, and due to that the towel may pucker a little around the threaded embellishments making them not look as pretty as straight from the package. If that does happen, i think ironing them may help (but who wants to do that). I think they are lovely as tea towels or just for hanging. I normally wouldn't go for white towels given how sloppy my kitchen gets, but these sure have a wintry look about them. They hang nicely! There are three towels with worded embellishments. One says, "holiday cheer", another says, "winter sparkle", and another says, "joy to the world". Sometimes I think a towel doesn't need to be a towel. It might be a perfect design and size for wrapping a fresh made loaf of bread in, or to use as a basket towel, or for use as actual gift wrapping.

Pretty, but not super practical as towels

These towels are very cute and make a great decoration in the kitchen for the holidays. They are sparkly and festive, but feel decorative rather than practical. From the perspective of being decorative, they are well-made and very pretty. The embroidery is lovely and the messages of "Joy to the World" "Winter Sparkle" and "Holiday Cheer" come through beautifully and the metallic threads are lovely. From the perspective of practicality, they are rather thin and are not absorbent enough to use as dishtowels or hand towels. With the delicate metallic thread, they do not launder particularly well if you need to use a strong detergent or if you have use hot water or other means to get stubborn stains out (e.g. if you were using for heavy use). These are a lovely addition to my kitchen for the holidays adding a sparkly decorative touch.

steal at this price -- perfect gift

I wish I had been thinking ahead and bought these for all my "little" gifts. This is a set of 3 decorative towels. They are thin but sturdy. Not thick (or large enough) to truly be hand towels in a large family,. but just perfect to use as decorative towels over the actual towel that you would use to dry your hands. The stitching, both functional and decorative, are complete and without flaws. The prints are also flawless and complete. These towels are 100% cotton and although stiff when they arrived a quick wash softened them up. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Tumble dry.

SO pretty!!!

Dishtowels should not be THIS pretty - but these are. I absolutely love the 3 different designs, and that they're lint free. I have one in the dining room in the bar, one in the kitchen, and one in a drawer ready to relieve the one of the other two. The designs on these are darling, and embroidered, not stamped on, which really makes them worth putting out when doing holiday entertaining. These are going to get a lot of use this holiday season, and so far they've washed very well, and dried without shrinking or having any impact to the designs when dried on low. Definitely scoop up a set, or even several sets as these would be fantastic host/ess gifts paired with a bottle of prosecco.
