Great Product

I purchased 3 of these and they are exactly what I was looking for. Linked seamlessly to the Wiz App and then Alexa. Works great. Very easy process.

Colors are way, way off

This is the second time I purchased this product, the first time was from Home Depot, then from Amazon. I wanted to see if the problem was a fluke. But it isn't, and I see that other people have had the same problem. Almost none of the colors match up. I discovered the reason. There is no functioning yellow. That is why yellow itself appears as bright green. That is why there are no blue-green colors, because there is no yellow to mix with the blue. That is why there are no oranges, because there is no yellow to mix with red (green is mixed with red, producing very dull colors.) The fact that this product has not been recalled or at least the price seriously reduced is appalling. I can find absolutely no SMART ceiling lights that are good.

A Super Cool Flushmount RGB Ceiling Light

The media could not be loaded. This is a terrific flushmount ceiling light. You can choose any color of light you like in the light’s app, and the app gives you a lot of dynamic (preprogrammed/color-changing) choices, too. I attached an app screenshot of some of the dynamic choices to this review. Now, I was hoping this light would work with my Tuya SmartLife app (because I really like that home automation app), but it doesn’t. You must use the WiZ app. However, with that said, the WiZ app is actually a really good app. It’s far better than I expected it to be. So, I am actually quite happy with the app. It gives you a lot of control over the light. I put this light on the wall above the utility sink in my garage. I didn’t actually need a light there, so in reality it’s more of decorative/ambiance light than anything. I’m basically using the light as a decorative sconce. And for that purpose this light is awesome. The light’s dynamic scenes are super cool. I particularly like the cycling greens of “Jungle,” and the cycling light blues of “Ocean.” I attached a video of “Ocean” to this review. I really like this light. The only thing that would change that is if the light stops working for some reason. I don’t anticipate the light going out any time soon, but you just never know with LED lights. However, if the light does go out in the first two or three years or so, you can be sure that I will update this review and let you know about it. Nice mood

Like most homes built in the 90's I have a number of polished brass ceiling fixtures and I've slowly been replacing them. This is a nice looking fixture. It puts out a nice even light that isn't blinding. The ability to change the color, dim, etc. is fun and was easy to set up. What would be really great is if there was a wall switch that let you do that so you didn't have to rely on your phone or your Echo. I should note that that novelty faded after a week or two but it's still fun - I have this fixture over a bathtub and change the "mood" when I want to just soak and relax. Installation is a bit tricky. There are keyholes that you have to line up - easy enough BUT you have to keep removing the fixture to tighten the anchor screws to eliminate any gaps. Also not a difficult task but you're doing that overhead on a ladder. It took about 3 or 4 attempts and I finally got it.

Limitless color choices and brightness levels

Quite impressive LED light that has a ton of preset color and mood choices. The light itself is really lightweight, which makes it simple to install. The app works great to control the light anywhere, this thing even has bluetooth. Haven't tried to pair with Alexa yet, but the standalone app works great. Only complaint is tucking away the wires, as this has no where to put them.

Easy to set up, Easy to use, and BIG

I've gone through several smart lights recently and this is a particularly good one. It was easy to install, easy to set up, the app doesn't ask for a bunch of weird permissions or appear to otherwise behave badly; and it works well. I really like the size. I've only found a couple options at this size and this was the nicest looking and best overall. Color management is easy although note that the colors are a bit washed out. If you're looking for a light that throws a LOT of color, you may be disappointed. But for an overhead smart light I can control with Google, it works really well.

Nice look

We replaced a builder-grade light in our kitchen with this. This has a little bit of style but not too much. We had a little trouble with installation because the previous light’s install didn’t quite line up with this, but that isn’t the light’s fault. The app is easy to use (don’t use a 5G network). Identified the light automatically. We don’t neee any of the fancy color settings but they do work as advertised.
