I was sent a damaged item.

Open the box and I see a hole on the elbow of the statue. It's looks like a manufacturing bad quality issue. Not worth the price. Very disappointed.

This is the perfect size for the space I needed something in. I like this gargoyle as I haven't seen it very often before and isn't the typical rabid bulldog style gargoyle that gets way overdone. I don't know if it's supposed to look weather worn with some of the paint or not. If it was supposed to then it's perfect, if it wasn't then some of the paint is coming off a bit. I have it in a well shaded spot so it shouldn't be from the sun. I would recommend it.

This is shaped and looks like the gargoyle I saw at a store, but it is much smaller than the dimensions said and is a caramel color. It seems like an indoor statue to me and so I placed it on my mantel. The one I saw at a store was the color of the photo and it was much larger and did appear to be an outdoor decoration. Look at the picture someone took in one of the reviews, that is exactly what this looks like.

Love the design

Just what I was looking for. I have purchased Design Toscano gargoyles in the past. In fact, I have one in my front yard that had it wings broken off by a contractor who kept tripping over it. I glued the wings back and it has held up for over 15 years. Very nice work on these gargoyles. I have not decided where to put this little guy yet, but I am thinking of putting him at my front door next to the welcome mat (lol) and see what people think. It looks just like the picture on Amazon, is a resin material and I expect it will hold up as well as my other one. Very pleased.

Better than the picture!

Again, another fantastic purchase for Halloween. I have these on my pillars in the front of my house. I get tons of compliments from people walking by. They look better in person. If it starts raining a lot I will probably bring them in but otherwise they are out all day and are holding up well. I did spray them with a protectant hoping that will help them stay fresh. I'll be putting Santa hats on them for Christmas which will really bring attention to them. Everything in the description box is what they are. I love them and feel like they are protecting/watching over my house.

This smiling sculpture, really walks the line between creepy and adorable in quite an amazing way. Depending on your mood it's both Disney and Horror. And neither. I put a red uplight on her. She lives under the stairs in my backyard. Her name is Aribella. Every now and then Design Toscano comes out with a timeless classic (amidst all the junk they also come up with). The zombie (which I also have) is one, this is another. Great little piece you can't help but fall in love with.

Great piece, but....

Love the gargoyle as pictured- but he arrived with his wings badly dented. I was surprised to note rubber pads on his "feet"- not exactly what I would anticipate for an outdoor figure. I will say that the design and ornate quality of this inexpensive piece is far beyond what I expected.

pretty nice

I bought this as a gift for my dad and he loved it. Its medium sized, solid and looks exactly like the picture. The only problem was a sticker on the one wing that was really hard to get off. Other than that it was perfect! The face really has a lot of personality.

Not a convincing stone effect.

Rather disappointed that this isn't the stone effect shown in the picture. Its made with a yellowish resin. Its got some weight to it so not totally cheap looking but will definitely have to sit it somewhere shady and hope it gets some moss & algae on it to 'weather' it a bit.

Love it!!

Love my gargoyle!!! Fits in beautifully in my Victorian Gothic living room. Only four out of five stars though as he has a few tiny holes where the resin has bubbled and burst during manufacturing.

when this item arrived I was so disappointed, it was very small,and it was the wrong colour it should have been a light grey colour , the same has the picture ,but it was a mustard beige colour, not worth the money, I had to send it back
