Solved my problem

These were exactly what I needed to correct my issue of the valve being set too deep into the wall. The only complaint I have is the cost. It is overly priced for what it is. I’m sure the manufacturer is looking at the fact of how difficult it would be to open up the wall to move the valve…..so, the cost and ease of using these extenders outweighs the cost. Still makes me feel like I’m being taken advantage of.

Cheapest fix out there

It's pretty pricey for a small piece of brass, and I have no clue why they have an image with two, when you only get one--I only needed one and knew that was happening from the other reviews. But, this piece did the trick. I cut it to size and was able to install my diverter valve without paying the ~$175 that the entire trim extension kit would cost. Thanks!!

Problem Solved

My plumber set the recessed the valve too far and my options were either to bust out the newly set tile or buy this. It's with noting that I had to hacksaw this to the right length but at least the product has scores which make this somewhat easier.

Exorbitant price but works

It works. Extend the diverter as stated. Reduced one star for price gouging price and received one piece, not two pieces as shown in picture.

Only 1 comes in a package

Ordered the set thinking two came. When I got it, there was only one. I was very disappointed I needed 2 and for the price, you should get 2.

Only received one not two as ad shows.

The ad does show two and only received one. Delta has the worst diverter valve as the trim is too short as the nut is too long to even put handle on without even installing in shower. Worked but definitely not the way it should be.
