this is a very poor design!!!

I purchased this expensive unit because of the feature of maintaining the water temp while not using the faucet. But the plastic connector pieces are a nightmare. You need two hands to get it off the part on the vertical piece affixed to wall. And sometimes two hands to get it on. This was purchased for someone who has balance issues so he did not have to keep adjusting the water. But it is not safe for him. The company will sell me replacement plastic parts (will have the same problem) for 50% off!!!! Other hand held have metal parts that easily go on and off the holder. I am so disappointed in Delta because I was willing to spend more money due to their "good" reputation. I will think twice about that now. The person who installed this just about guaranteed me that the plastic will break with all the torquing going on and off.

all parts not there

Thankfully I only needed the shower head and mount for a job.... I noticed there was no hose... thankfully I didn't "need" it. poor shipping as well. packaging was not secure in the least. Rail is cheap... double sided tape - didn't use it. Call back waiting to happen

Disappointing product - positive return experience

There were no previous reviews, but the illustration looked pretty good and I preferred the style over what was available locally. I was very disappointed with the quality - size of the rod was much smaller than I expected and was made with very thin metal. I returned it and bought another Delta product locally. Kudos to Amazon for making the return easy and simple.

Delta makes a great shower.

Delta makes a great shower. Was incredibly easy to install, looks awesome and love the multi spray head. Bought this shower component because I needed to replace a Alyson's shower component. I searched all over to find that Delta is a better price and the only difference is a slightly larger shower head than Allyson's. If I replace in the future it will be with a Delta.

Good quality

Just needed the glide rail, could not find rail by itself, had to order whole unit. I was surprised with the quality of hand held and hose. I am a plumber and know quality, this is one item I would recommend.
