a good substitute for OEM hitch

I ordered the hitch and it did not look like it was going to fit properly. A mechanic friend of mine installed it. It was a little tricky as it did not go on like the OEM hitch, but after a bit of manipulation and persuasion, we were able get it installed and it looked well under the new bumper.

2011-14 Ford F-150. Good but not OEM

This was easy to install on my 2011 F150 crew cab that came without the factory tow option (bumper hitch only). I did not need to drop the tire to install (as instructed) but i can see how it would be easier to install if dropped. I used common wrenches, sockets, and a jack stand to support the weight. Installation went without any issue. It will not look factory "OEM" when parked next another F150 with a factory installed hitch. This hitch will be more visible below the bumper. If you want something that looks just like as OEM, this may not satisfy you. I have towed only light items well under the rated capacity. It is noisier than towing on the factory bumper hitch but not unusual. I feel safer using the hitch than the bumper.

Easy to install!

No issues in the install! It took about 15-20 minutes to do the job. Sturdy as a rock.

Pretty happy. Solidly built hitch

Love my hitch. Toes my 24 foot boat great! Built pretty solid. The only thing I don’t like is the safety chain loops. With the hitch pin in there isn’t much room for the hooks. But not a huge deal for me just letting you all know. That’s why I’m going with a 4 star

Make sure to tighten your bolts to instructions

Maybe one half hour to install. 4 bolts and finished. Works very well on my F150. If I ever need to get another one I know where to get it.

Do it the easy way!!

Easy to install you need someone to help hold it up ..I put this on my 2014 ford 150 xlt..everything lines right up ..but make life easy drop the spare tire ..if you do it wont take long at all to put in...if you dont the tire will be in the way for you ratchet...

Easy installation, does the job

Installed the part without any issues on my 2013 Ford F-150. You'll need two people for the installation. It's a good trailer hitch, does the job.

Nice Hitch

This hitch was very easy to install. It was nicely finished in gloss black coating. This is a heavy duty hitch and the bar sits below the bumper so it is more visible than the factory units but it can carry 10,000lbs vs. factory 6000lbs without weight distribution hitch.
