works well

opened the gland nut on my bobcat 331 bucket curl cylinder. nice to have the 3/4" drive instead of a 1/2" drive. pivot bolt loosenes up a bit while using it and i had to tighten the pin retaining screws but it did the job. if i had to use one of these everyday i'd find a better one but for occasional use it's perfect.

Good deal for the money

I was able to take apart a hydraulic cylinder that the local shop would charge $150 to rebuild. Pretty easy if you have the right tool. However the steel they use on the pins is kind of soft and knurled over quite easily. I was still able to get the cylinder apart.

Great tool to have around.

The product works great. Though my little lockouts for the different pin sizes were a little loose and kept falling out until I noticed that I needed to tighten them up. Otherwise it's all good.

Put what sizes it fits!

It is well made and pretty heavy duty but I had a backhoe cylinder that was 6" in diameter... Which is too big for the tool. After probably 4" diameter this tool isnt gonna work. However i never broke it and I was reefing on it- I bent a 36" pipe wrench in the process and never broke this tool.

Pins ehhh?

Great to rebuild n tighten. Junk for removing any gland nuts that been on a while. Broke both pins. But I got a lillathe n made my own real pins. With a Lil harden heat. Power wheel batt n 12v induction heater.

Broken

Pin broke off the first time I used it. I only had an 18" bar on it. Now I need to order a replacement pin set and remove the broken piece from my cylinder.
