Update 7/7/22: I bought this headset in November '21 and it is still performing wonderfully. No issues whatsoever, build quality is holding up well with daily use of 4-8 hours and games, movies & music still sound excellent on this headset. First off, I want to say that this headset can get LOUD. I pretty much never have to turn the volume above 25/100 whereas with my previous headsets (Arctis Pro, HyperX Cloud Flight, Sony Platinum, TB Stealth 700 and a few others) I typically had no problem maxing out the volume and often needed to. The sound quality on these is excellent, they are high res capable, so they have a frequency range of 20-40,000hz, which is better than most headsets which are usually 20-20,000hz. They have 50mm drivers, 25% larger than a lot of similarly priced headsets. They come with a Dolby Atmos subscription which is great when watching movies in particular. For gaming, I prefer setting my own EQ on the Icue software, which is easy to use and feature-rich. The microphone on this headset really sets it apart from other wireless headsets though. It is by far the best sounding mic I've used on a headset, like it's practically broadcast quality. My friends tell me that I sound like I'm speaking to them in person, there's no compression or distortion, it's really incredible for a wireless mic. Go watch Hardware Canucks review on YouTube if you want to hear it in action. The headset is very comfy as well, feels similar to an Arctis headset, what with the ski-goggle type band at the top and fabric ear cushions instead of leather. They are very well built and sturdy, with a solid plastic band and metal hinges. The earcups can rotate to lay flat on your chest as well. And because they use felt fabric instead of the typical PVC leather on the earcups, they are therefore much cooler and able to be worn for longer times because they don't make your ears warm. They do a pretty good job of blocking outside noise, but they are not noise cancelling so you do get a little leakage, both coming in, and to a lesser extent, going out. The microphone flips up to mute and you can shut off or change the LED color on the mic to signify when it's on or off. Again, the microphone quality is absolutely astounding for a wireless headset, don't listen to the reviews claiming it's too low, I'm pretty sure if that was an issue that a firmware update fixed it because both my best friend and I have never had that problem with our headsets. These really shine in FPS and other games where you need to pay attention to auditory details like footsteps. With the 10-band EQ, you can get things like footsteps sounding incredibly clear by adjusting the bass & treble. Dolby Atmos sounds great in movies and music and does well in games that decode Atmos sound, though I still prefer using the EQ for any competitive gaming. For single player games like God of War or Guardians of the Galaxy, the Atmos is a treat though. I really have only one complaint about this headset and that's the battery life - it's not really a complaint, just a nitpick, but I would've liked a few more hours of battery life. That being said, I still have never needed to charge it in a day, I can always get about 13-15hrs from it, so I just make sure to plug it in every night. You can also put a battery indicator in the notification area of your taskbar so you can always know what level the battery is at, which I think is a very useful feature. Also, the dongle has a pretty cool feature in that you can connect other Corsair devices to it - so if you have a wireless Corsair mouse, you can save a USB port and connect both the headset and mouse to the headset's dongle. And speaking of, the range on these is pretty solid and about the same as other wireless headsets. Zero noticeable latency or lag too, thanks to the Slipstream wireless. I'm able to walk to my bathroom about 20ft away and I still get a signal even though it's going thru 2 walls. It'll occasionally drop out when going thru several walls, but it's got a pretty solid connection and I've certainly never had any problems when I'm in the same room as the dongle - never any static, loss of connection or anything, sound is always crisp and clear when within 10-15ft of the receiver. There is also some RGB on the earcups and mic, but I personally shut it off to save battery life. I mean you can't see the RGB while wearing the headset so the only reason to keep the RGB on is if you're streaming and other people can see it - but if you're alone, do yourself a favor and shut it off or at least turn the brightness down because it'll get you an extra 1-2 hours of battery life. Overall, I can absolutely recommend this headset, it's very well built, sounds great, it's comfy, the mic is incredible, and it feels like it will last a long time. Tl;Dr - excellent headset, sounds great and microphone is incredible.
