Great cutting tool
I broke my last branch cutter, it was only a 1 to 1 force ratio, this one is a 3 to 1. It's heavy duty which is OK by me. I tend to cut bigger than normal branches during tree trimming, after the main branch is on the ground, no need for the chain saw with this tool. This one had no problem as I put one handle on the ground & my full weight on the other handle to make the cut. It cost a bit more but I felt it was worth it, this one shouldn't break like the lighter duty one did.

American made with quality and pride.
Compound leverage and extra long handles make this tool the one I use when I need to prune or trim or cut branches up to two inches thick. Using it is a pleasure.

Easy to use
Cuts tree branches with ease! Much easier to cut limbs ans branches compared to regular snips. The cutter is very rugged, however I do find that the blades are a little on the soft side. I'm only cutting some small branches and after a couple cuts I've notice that the blades have some nicks already. The bushed I'm cutting is considered kinda soft so it's not that hard stuff like oak trees branches. Not sure why the blades nicked so easily, but so gar they have not worsen. Worth the price and cheaper on Amazon than from buying from Lowes :)

Works
Mine needed sharpening from its arrival. Tried to cut even a small branch, the blade resisted traveling through the 1”branch . So determined upon careful inspection the blade was flawed and not sharp creating resistance when cutting. Worked well enough to 1 and a half inch branch after sharpening. Had a great old geared looper that spoiled me this one doesn’t measure up to that 25 year old performance but it grew legs so this will have to do.

Extremely nice
Corona. What more do you need to say when buying pruning products. These loppers are absolutely amazing and worked extremely smoothly. We are very happy with this purchase. These are a little more pricey than others, but you get what you pay for. My other set that is similar I have had for 29 years and I’m still using them. These are for our cabin in the mountains. If you are contemplating these, stop and just buy them. For the money you cannot buy a better side that will last longer and be easier to use.

Best loppers ever. Comfortable and easy to use appropriate weight, will cut right through even a 2 inch apple branch.

Workhorse
I had some out of control vines growing in part of a fence and all over an old stump. I removed as much as I could with a weed eater and cleaned up the rest with these. They cut through thick material with ease. There is a little bit of a learning curve to using them in tight spaces because both jaws move due to the compound action. I even accidentally cut through a metal fence with them and it didn't even leave a mark on the blades.
