Fabric was thicker than I expected

I purchased a different pair of Columbia pants and the fabric was extremely light weight. I was hoping these were like that. But they were not. The fabric on these was much heavier. Quality was good and they fit fine, they just weren't what I was looking for.

Super comfy

Pants for what I was exactly looking for as I traveled to Europe. They were pull on very comfortable dry wick material the length was a little too long but I’m only 5.3 They washed up nicely in the sink. I would buy several more of these in different colors to travel with again.

Dye not stable

These are 5 stars for comfort, fit and material. However upon washing very noticeable random areas of fading occurred. These were washed with other dark clothes - none of which had any issues. So it appears the dye used is not stable or set properly. I'm using these for hiking so I guess I will keep them but it is disappointing. I'm petite and the pants are not too long and can be rolled up. I may order another pair and try washing them more delicately but kind of expect hiking pants to be tougher.

According to reviews and ordered a size up and they fit perfectly! I am normally a size 4 so I ordered a 6

My goto hiking pant!

Glad I ordered up a size as others reported to a size 6. Great fit and very comfortable! It's my second pair (ordered black pants from the Columbia website). Washes up well. I'm about 110 lbs and 5'1".

Really nice pants

Really nice pants. They stretch well, they have decent pockets (I like the zippered one; large enough to fit my phone so I don't have to worry about it on hikes) and they look professional enough that I can get away with wearing them to work. The sizing seems to be good. I'm normally between a 2 and a 4 and the 4s fit me just about right. They are a little long (I'm 5'5" and they bunch a bit at the ankle). Overall I really like them!
