Excellent pillow and well-priced compared to competitors

I am pleasantly surprised at this pillow, having tried so many pillows, especially memory foam ones and spent tons of money on ones that I had to toss. As someone with neck issues after sports injuries, I have a finite range of motion in my neck where I can sleep without having ridiculously stiff necks that frequently trigger massive migraines. This pillow is the first I've tried in a LONG time that I rarely wake with a stiff neck and get a great night's sleep. I was skeptical both because it's a thick pillow, and initially felt like it had too much give, but after sleeping on it for awhile I realized that while it gives quite a bit, it retains it shape well and gently pops back to be supportive while sleeping, without being too dense or stiff. Most importantly for me, as largely a side sleeper, who shifts side-to-side and occasionally onto my back, I can actually usually sleep on my back without getting absurdly stiff neck. The only beef I have with the pillow is that as a 6'3" man, I had to buy a king size pillow for a queen-sized bed because the 'queen size' is really closer to being a standard pillow, so I found myself rolling off it when I turned from one side to the other, and the king size crowds my girlfriend's side of the bed too much.

The Search Is OVER!! TY TY TY! :)

Yep. I'm one of the 'I've been looking for ____ **YEARS** for this pillow!!' people. My 15+ year quest to replace two pillows has led me down paths of expense (upwards of $100 per pillow), supposed 'cooling' foam pillows (they aren't, not matter the price), pillows advertised as king that barely qualify as glorified standard sized and pillows that run the gamut in weight from brick to concrete slab. Last holiday season after two failed attempts I was banned by the spouse from buying any more pillows. Let's just say the 2nd / guest bedroom is a pillow graveyard - unhappy husband, perfectly thrilled cat. Then along comes a lightening deal & an itchy clicker finger. I received it in the morning before I went to work so I was able to unpack it, pull it out of its cover* (more on this in a bit), squeeze out the air a few times like a few reviewers mentioned here & then leave it out for the rest of the day. By that evening any residual scent from being packed & shipped was gone. I get migraines so even traces of a chemical smell would have been apparent by the time I woke up. (Side note: I've noticed many of the reviewers indicate they are larger sized people but there are none that specifically say they are small or petite. I fall in the small/petite class & this pillow still works like a dream.) I sleep in every position due to neck fusions, an unrepaired rotator cuff tear & life long restless insomnia. There is no position this pillow does not work with. It is firm, yet flexible. It is a 'heavy' pillow when comparing it to other pillows in general but when comparing it to others in this class, it is not. It is one that can be moved & adjusted easily in the middle of the night (ie: it doesn't feel like you're wrestling with 35 lbs of dead weight.) AND (*the more on the cover), there are actually two covers. There is one protecting the pillow itself that is thin & basically there to safeguard the foam, although it too can be removed & washed. Then there is the outer cover, which is soft, washable & zippered. The outer cover is almost worth what I paid as a Lightening Deal. The pillow? I'm buying 2 more, lightening deal or no. Thanks Classic Brands & Amazon. The search is finally over!

really good pillow

I am a side sleeper with neck problems on a never ending hunt for a great pillow and have spent hundreds of dollars on every kind of pillow. I bought 2 of these pillows and stack them when I'm on my side and offset them when I'm on my back. It's been a week and my arms have not fallen asleep in the night nor have I had any neck pain. They take some getting used to especially if you like to scrunch your pillows or that familiar feel of your head sinking into fluffiness. The foam is a medium density so your head does sink into it but it's supported. ONE YEAR UPDATE: the pillows maintained their shape but they aren't as dense as they were when new. I still like them but only sleep on one now. Not sure it's the best neck support.

After 6 years, still like brand new

This pillow may be the best purchase I’ve ever made. It’s the most comfortable pillow I’ve ever used and I just realized I’ve had it for over 6 years and it’s still like new! No discoloration, no smell, no lumps, no flattening. This thing is like magic. I feel like I should need a new one by now but what the heck…I’ll keep using it forever…seems like it may last that long!

Not as happy as I had hoped based off of the reviews ...

Not as happy as I had hoped based off of the reviews for this pillow!!. I'm a back to side sleeper myself and this pillow is just OK for a back sleeper, but not sure how it could work for a side/ stomach sleeper. I'm a woman with broad shoulders and if I'm sleeping on my side I normally put my elbow/ arm under the pillow. I can not do that comfortably with this pillow. For one, it is a VERY HEAVY PILLOW and two it is extremely firm!! I should have returned it, but of course with my luck when I had tried it out long enough and realized I wasn't pleased with it....it was 1 day past the return date :(. I have a pillow that I bought from a department store several years ago and have been looking for it in king size for a few years and this is not it. It does return to it's natural shape (after using it a month anyway), but again I was surprised at how heavy this pillow is. If you are wanting a firm heavy pillow that goes back it's natural shape, then this is the pillow for you! If you like to sleep with your arm under the pillow/ cuddle your pillow while sleeping, or easily flip over your pillow in the middle of the night...then this is NOT the pillow for you!!!

Most comfortable pillow I ever tried

After trying this pillow, I cannot sleep on those standard fluffy pillows. This is a dense pillow, so your head really feels supported. Make sure you like dense pillows. Also I am a back and side sleeper and it's great for both. I don't understand how some people can sleep on their stomach but I think it might be too dense for that. I don't have any problems with the temperature and any slight smell dissipates quite quickly. Before using this type of pillow, I would wake up sometimes with my head in an uncomfortable position. This pillow makes me feel like I'm sleeping in a zero gravity environment (but I don't really know what that's like so sue me). The length of it is also really nice, and allows you to move around a lot on it. It blows away even the premium department store pillows.

Great Buy!

I've had this pillow for a few months now, and just love it! It's like sleeping on a cloud, but with support. I am a side sleeper, and my only complaint would be that sometimes I have to bunch it up a little to fill that space between shoulder and neck. A little firmer pillow might be better for a side sleeper. The foam smell that comes with all new latex and memory foam pillows was actually quite mild with this one, and dissipated within a week. Great buy.

Excellent product delivers support and comfort

I researched this product and it's comparators before purchasing it and I am glad as it IS excellent. I bought the king size version in advance of two hip replacements to support my legs and it has been a goodsend. Be prepared for a fairly heavy product but is is heavenly in support and does not overheat. The Amazon price beat any local supplier. I am very pleased with this product and may well buy the queen size for my head in future.

Las almohadas suaves no son lo mío, y por algún tiempo tuve que usar dos almohadas suaves apiladas para poder dormir relativamente "a gusto". Afortunadamente esta almohada está de lujo: es lo suficientemente firme como para que mi cabezota no se hunda, pero no tan dura como para amanecer adolorido; es lo suficientemente alta para dormir boca arriba o de lado; y gracias a su forma pareja puedo voltearme sin tenerla que jalar conmigo.
