I recently purchased the “Bronx Bib” style apron from chef works. At first glance, the stich quality looked great and i really loved the material. I work as a Chef in the industry and am constantly looking for cool aprons to add To my collection , and this one is an eye catcher for sure. I love the chest pocket for pens or tweezers, However I wish it was stiched into two thin pockets to keep tweezers secure . That would be my one complaint. Another huge factor in an apron is how it fits around my neck, this apron stays secure around my Chef coat and doesn’t ride on my neck. I’d definetly reccomend this apron , and many of the others from Chef works. For about $30, you can pick up a sharp looking durable apron in a variety of different colors and patterns.

An apron at it’s best!
I purchased this apron because I wanted an apron that would last and be long enough for me, a tall person. I must say that I love this apron. I am 6’5” tall. So, most apron’s that I buy don’t even come close to my knees. In fact most aprons make me look like I am wearing a mini skirt or something. This apron is fully adjustable. If you are short (anyone under 6 ft to me) you won’t have any problem adjusting this to fit you. For me, with everything adjusted all the way out it comes right to the top of my knee cap. This is where I like my aprons to come, you may be different. This apron is made of what I would call a light denim material so it’s pretty light weight. You don’t feel like you are wearing a pair of jeans if that is what you are wondering. Plenty of pockets. I really like the small one on the upper part of the chest as this is where I like to keep my thermometer. So, if you like pockets there are plenty. What I also like about these pockets is that they are not too big. What I mean by that is they don’t stick way out in the front of you. This way they don’t snag every little thing. I cook a lot so an apron is a must for me. This has clearly made it to the number one spot for me. Lady’s if you are looking for an apron for your husband then look no more. This apron is great for BBQing. It’s very durable so it should last you a long time to come. At this price point you can’t go wrong. Enjoy! I paid full price for this item. In turn I’m giving you my fair take on what I feel about the product once I have tried it out. I hope that it has helped someone come to informed purchasing decision. I give this item a TWO THUMBS UP! and a MUST HAVE Kitchen Cooking Item!

i wear things im a chef , im am not going to say that i took excellent care of it be cause that would be a lie i work long hard 12/15 hour days and i wear cloths that are as comfortable as possible including rotating 3 pairs of shoes with inserts and i dont skimp on cost ever usually just so you can gauge how durable good products are with me , a pair of 200 dollar redwing shoes on average with the 80$ inserts being rotated with the croc bistro pro and an additional pair of redwings also with inserts will give mw about a half a year ball park .. that being said you now have a barometer , this apron used everyday from the date of delivery to just yesterday when it ripped like i said i am a tough customer i utilize products and this one could not take it i washed it every night at the end of the shift in the dish machine and hung it on the handle to my broiler to dry broiler was never on but still warm it always dried by next morning but it just could not handle every day commercial kitchen use its a good occasional apron for home ,if you dont mind looking like a hipster

but MAN I LOVE this apron
I left a similar review for another denim apron, but it suits this one too. I will personalize what needs to be changed... I don't usually leave reviews, but MAN I LOVE this apron. I wear this at work, and keep a pen, marker, and Exacto knife in the pocket. Past aprons have always ripped in the pocket from the weight/pressure of the items (even though there's barely any weight to these items!), which is SO annoying because the apron itself will be fine, but the pocket has a hole in it! THIS apron is FANTASTIC, and the denim is more durable than my normal cloth ones. It's a VERY fashionable apron, which might not be everyone's priority; but I enjoy that aspect. It would work for a man or a woman. Two sturdy pockets of good size, and one little pocket at top which is kind of ideal for a pen. I literally could not recommend more highly.

Well made item!
Such nice fabric. Well made!! My brother LOVED it and I even had his name embroidered on it. That cost me more than the apron, but it made him so happy that I couldn't care less!! May order another!!

Good design but poor construction. I'll use it, but I don't love it.
I have mixed feelings about this apron. I really like the design, but the construction is absolutely terrible. The buckle that allows for adjustment of the neck strap disintegrated within the first use. It's metal, but it literally crumbled in my hands. The fabric used for the bulk of the apron is incredibly thin denim-ish and the neck & waist straps are stiff and uncomfortable. When I bought this, I figured it would become my primary apron and my older one would be saved for my hubby when he ventured into the kitchen. Ultimately, I'm still using the other one most often because of the superior construction. As I mentioned, I do like the design of this apron, though it really isn't well represented in the pictures here. The color is almost more of a dark bluish/brown than black to me. It certainly more of a masculine design, which I appreciate, but in the end, cut corners yielded a mediocre product.

Sturdy enough construction but: - it reeks of sulphur - if you have more than a 30” chest and waist, it will not fit you well
