needed for Little Leage catchers

My son's catcher's helmet didn't have a throat guard and needed this to help protect area underneath his chin, that was slightly exposed when he swivel his head around on certain plays. We got the shorter version, which provided more then enough protection and makes it easier to rip off the helmet.

Must Have and Works !

This was a replacement for the same product that took many direct pitches and foul balls to the guard over the years. This time a foul ball hit it and cracked it. So, it did its job to protect me which is why I ordered another one.

Complies with Little League Rules for a Good Price

Does what it needs to do. My son has a hockey style mask but Little League requires that something be dangling from the helmet anyway. Ridiculous. Anyway, it was cheap and it keeps the umps happy. The shorter one is all you'll need in this situation.

Fits perfect on my royal blue face mask

Perfect fit and looks great on my ALL-STAR MAGNESIUM mask. The only drawback is the snaps are junk and had to be replaced because they would come apart on impact. I took a foul tip last night and it deflected the ball perfectly and the guard struck my chest protector. 4 stars because of the weak snaps
