My daughter is petite and small. I got a 3T and it swallows her. So I do recommend sizing down. Very cute dress!

Great Dress but Arm Holes Too Small
My 2yo is in the 97% and rocks a plump tummy so we normally size way up - we bought a 4T in this dress which normally gives her some room to grow in Little Planet. The dress is roomy everywhere but the arms which are almost too tight to get her arms through. Again, my gal is curvy but we've never had issues with the arms in any brand. If you have a leaner toddler this might work for you, but I wouldn't recommend sizing up since then the rest of dress would be too big.
