Not the color for me!

Buying makeup online is tough because comparing your physical skin tone with the digital image is tough. I chose this lipstick and really, it doesn't look good with my skin tone at all - and that is absolutely not the fault of the product at all. I have tried to wear this lipstick multiple times - of course, when we had mask mandates, that was nearly impossible, but just last night, I tried once again to wear it, but the color looked freakish and jarring, the color of a clown's hair on my lips (contrasting with my skin color). The application was great; I don't know how long lasting it was, but it felt good to apply and not sticky at all. Oh, and there were no after effects or skin rashes that occurred after application. I wouldn't mind trying this brand again in another color, probably a red or a dark purple, the two colors that always seem to work with my skin tone. My only advice is to buy the color you know works with your skin.

Vibrant moisturizing color

This lipstick is really pretty. The color is bright and it doesn’t dry out my lips! It is small enough to fit in my pocket too!

It Was Okay

The color didn't quite match what was in the picture and came out a bit more orange-y than I'd anticipated. The quality of the product was good, but the color made it where I'll probably rarely wear it.

Decent color and wear

I really like the matte texture of this product. The color is pretty and quite bold on my lips. It stays on for a few hours providing you don’t drink or eat. It is not waterproof or smudge-proof. The tube is nice quality, stays closed and feels durable.

it's nothing special, i like the color

it has floral scent. i the color does not stay on. the color i picked definitely is not intense. however it would make a nice cream blush, and a nice stain on the lips -- that would stay on longer that way.

Lasts, non-drying, pretty colors

Sometimes a lipstick just works for you and when it does, you order more than one. I have three of these Carter Beauty lipsticks. Two are reds and one is an orange. This red is a bit more 'red' than the pinkish-red I ordered previously. I don't detect much orange in it as the other reviewers did, at least not on me, but I don't mind an orange-red as it works well for my skintone. I actually like the pinkish red (3NA) better than this red. It lasts a long while for me. Of course if I'm eating and wiping with a napkin it's going to come off faster, but for drinking, and regular day-to-day, it stays on my lips for a decent amount of time. It's not drying to my lips and that's a plus--I put it on and forget it and that's what I want. Not greasy or 'slippery.' I don't care for the iniitial waxyish 'taste' of it, but that seems to dissipate quickly. I also don't care for how they say they are an Irish company but clearly the lipsticks are made in PRC (China).

Good lipstick, doesn’t last too long

Nice shade of lipstick. Goes on smooth and looks beautiful. It lasts just about as long as a regular lipstick, I wouldn’t say it’s an all day wear but it goes on smooth and doesn’t dry your lips so it’s not inconvenient
