Great quality

Great quality and super comfortable. You can get away with these being dressier shorts without sacrificing comfort. Hubby loves these little rubber nubs inside the waistband that helps keep them from sliding down as the day wears on, without needing to add a belt.

Very comfortable and snazzy looking shorts. They also have a dressy look to them. Husband says they're his favorite. They're not my favorite as they need to be ironed (by me).

Best Golf Shorts I Own!

I have a few pairs of Callaway Golf Pants that I love, and these Swing Tech Golf Shorts are the equivalent of those in shorts. Simply put, these are among the most comfortable shorts I own, and I love these as much as my Callaway pants. Everything about these shorts is made with the end user in mind, but the standout is the blended materials that dry quickly, have plenty of flexibility, and offer excellent comfort! I sweat a lot in the Midwest's hot and humid summer months and need shorts that can dry fast or look like I got caught in monsoon rains. These perform excellently in that area! In terms of flexibility, they don't interrupt my movement or swing. I wish the belt loops were a bit larger, but they work with most of my web/golf belts. Recommended!

By far my husband’s fav golf shorts

Of course Callaway is a well known company for premium clubs and balls, but my husband had never tried their clothing. These Swing Tech shorts are a little pricier than a standard pair of shorts, so are they worth it? Yes, yes, decidedly yes! The reason for the gushing is that these are far and away the most comfortable shorts he’s ever owned. The fabric is 92% polyester and 8% elastane (spandex) and these are different than his other shorts with the “swing tech” - which means that they are supposed to stretch to give a full range of motion when golfing. We can confirm that he moves well in them, and have stretch both in the shorts and in the waistband. They are moisture wicking (have “option dri” technology) and the fabric (despite being polyester) is breathable. The pants are supposed to have sun protection built in too. These have great construction with no missed stitches or any other problems. These shorts fit true to size. Although they are a slimmer fit, you don’t need to size up. They have a 9” inseam (fit my husband just above the knees), a flat front and are on the dressier side. They’re flat front with no pleat and sort of look like cut off dress pants to be honest. But the one thing that is different about them is that they have a cross-weaved heather pattern finish which makes them more formal looking. As far as the functionality, these have two 2 side pockets and 2 back pockets, all usable. One back pocket buttons (my husband shoves his golf glove partially into that side when he’s not wearing it) and the other side is unbuttoned (where his cell phone goes. It doesn’t pop out). The two side pockets are deep and are silky - so soft and comfortable. There is no inner pouch in either side pocket that tees or other things may get stuck in. Overall the pockets are spacious and your stuff doesn’t spill out of them. The waistband has little Callaway symbols in silicone all over inside to help hold your shirt in place. He has experienced no issues with buttons or zippers: they seem to be of decent quality, and it’s not hard to put button in like some shorts. Overall, these shorts are high in our book in comfort, style, and quality. I will be buying him more for Christmas (I’m glad he doesn’t read my reviews!)

Run small.

I got the shorts because I really like tech shorts in the summertime as they have a nice stretch to them in a lightweight. This was my first time purchasing the Callaway brand tech shorts and I ended up going with my normal size however it was too small. I am a 31 to 32 and I purchased a size 32 and it is too tight for me. I need to size up one size for them to be more comfortable when sitting. Besides the small fit they seem to be well-made.

the most summer related and compatible shorts I own - these are great

The media could not be loaded. When it comes to the hot days of the summer I love to wear the thinnest material possible in the shorts format. This leads me to often wear golfing style shorts or board shorts that are part swim trunk. With my preference for the coolest(meaning best air flow) type of shorts I can find I often find neat looking types as well. With my eyes focused on a summer feel I came across this neat pair of shorts from the Callaway brand. What stood out for me and caught my eye was the neat light blue color. I have a lot of bright shorts but not one of this particular color shade. I believe that the lighter the color you wear the less absorption of sunrays. This is a fact and not debatable but I often argue about this in relation to the actual noticeable feel. A lot of my friends do not think there is enough of a noticeable effect but with this pair of shorts I had an enhanced feeling of the sun rays deflecting, where with my dark colored athletic gear I still feel the absorption, based on color shade. I wore these today with the outside temperature being in the high eighties with the real feel being about ninety. I did not once during the whole time being out side notice any perspiration within the shorts range of what they cover. I received several compliments on these with the light color being the aspect mentioned. This is my favorite kind of material as well as design with the sides being smooth and without any bulk do to elaborate pockets. This has a slimmer look with the fit being nice and snug to the waist and thighs. I found out this pairs nicely with a linen style shirt whether it is with sleeves or without. In the video clip included you can see a man with a similar appearance to myself doing some footwerk moves. This is a great example of how you can move around in these. I absolutely love these shorts feel super comfortable saying these are in the top twenty best shorts of all time - ever. I love every thing about these and am switching the rating from four to five.(this last sentence was an update after wearing these some more and growing to like them more and more to the extent of them transcending into the realm of - classic-. In conclusion I am super happy with these shorts and recommend them to anyone who likes a vibrant color for a nice summer day.
