Almost excellent
Arrived sooner than expected. The base is a bit small, but weighted and will hold the lamp upright if not put to undue stress - such as a larger pet bumping into it.. The swivel arm is somewhat spindly in appearance and not not quite level when extended. Close enough if you are not a perfectionist. It was easy to assemble with clear instructions. Required little effort or thought. Over all, it would have been a good buy at $75.00 including shipping. At $90 including shipping, it is slightly over priced. It is a more attractive and functional than many floor lamps you can purchase for a similar price. The shipping packaging was a bonus - Chinese newspapers. It appears that they are as interested in our society as we may be in theirs. I would purchase this floor lamp again, but look for a better price because of the swing arm shortfall.

Looks Nice.
I like the look of it. People are right in saying the shade is not excellent, but it isn't bad either. I draped crystals all around it and suddenly it looks a lot more expensive. During the day, the sunlight hits the crystals to make rainbows; at night the light from the lamp through the shade makes great silhouettes and shows off the pewter-held crystals to advantage. It's not as sturdy (as steady on the floor) as I had expected, and the little table is rated for five pounds. I'm glad it's tempered glass though; my smallest cat who uses it for a step to the table or the chair, weighs nine pounds, so we'll see... I do like it a lot in spite of my comments. Looks nice.

I am really disappointed that they both don't work
I ordered 2 of these lamps at the same time. When I opened them one had a black wire and one had a clear wire. The black wired lamp works perfectly. The clear wired lamp does not. The 3-way does not work and it is very dim. I am really disappointed that they both don't work. I love the lamp and will try to replace the broken one and hope it comes working.

No Lampshade included!
The lamp itself is fine, but I knocked 2 stars off because the advertising is deceptive, as NO LAMPSHADE is included! This should be clearly stated. Not sure why some of the reviews are mentioning a lampshade, but mine contained none. And for this price, it a lampshade SHOULD have been included!

It works
My wife wanted a bedside light for reading. The lamp on the nightstand wasn't cutting it anymore. I put an LED spot bulb in this lamp to cut the heat, and put it right next to the bed. She loves it. This lamp is not high quality, but it works. I'm pretty sure it's a Chinese product.

No Lampshade??
I am probably the only person on the planet who didn't realize that the lampshade didn't come with the lamp. Other than that it is fine. Not uber sturdy but worth the 74.00 we spent. Now to find a lampshade.

Looks Good
Like the looks overall, but changed the shade with one I already have. Only gave three stars because sometime the light flickers and have to readjust the bulb.

This product was just like the picture, however, it is a little lopsided. With some bending it is pretty much straight now. Is pretty heavy duty and a nice addition to any room.
