Great but Extra Pieces!

I love Buffalo puzzles. The quality of these puzzles are great and the color brightness just can't be beat. I was super excited about getting this puzzle but when I received it there was some anxiety as right there were eight duplicate edge pieces. I wasn't sure if this meant there were going to be eight pieces missing or their was just extra pieces. I was going to be seriously bummed if I did this whole puzzle only to find out their were pieces missing. Luckily, that was not the case all pieces were there in addition to the eight extra edge pieces there were also two extra inside pieces. The extra pieces made it a bit more difficult but at least all the pieces were there. I've purchased many Buffalo puzzles and this is the first time this has happened. I guess it kept things interesting. I would still very much continue to purchase Buffalo puzzles. This particular puzzle was very pretty and turned out lovely.

Paid for new, got someone's return

Box was hot glued together, just like another reviewer said. Took 10 minutes to cut through all the glue so I didn't rip the box up. Excessive glue was to secure the lid because they knew the pieces were not in a protective bag. Haven't put it together yet so don't know if pieces are missing. I paid for new, not someone's reject. I've had other Buffalo Games puzzles and they were never this unprofessional. Their puzzles are a quality product but this just detracted from the overall puzzle experience. Sadly, if pieces are missing I'll be requesting a new replacement and think twice about this brand for future purchases. Update: Have carefully assembled it and it is missing 12 consecutive pieces of the bottom left corner. Will be contacting customer support for a solution to this puzzling puzzle dilemma.

Missing Piece

Minimum expectation when buying a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle is there will be 1000 pieces.

Romantic Puzzle

Buffalo puzzles are the best, in my opinion. Best pieces, have a poster pic to see details better, if you wait they sometimes come on sale. O on a fixed income, retired,nice to wait for sales. Nice to work, edge pieces only ones w straight edges, it helps. I always set up frame first, precise edge pieces make it all fun to get to the middle. The lovers in Paris made me smile, made me young for a minute, holding hands w my first love. W never went to Paris, we were teens, but it sure looked like us in the pic.

Difficult puzzle with a pretty picture at the end

There were so many subtle changes of color in the pieces that made this puzzle one of the hardest we have ever done, so it took us about 4 weeks to complete (we don't work on it all the time, usually just a couple of hours a day). It is a really pretty puzzle. TIP: buy 2 sets of 8 puzzle trays to help you separate the pieces out in a way that makes sense to you.

Beautiful puzzle

Very pleased with this puzzle! All pieces were there, they fit together well, in not-too-thin, not-too-thick pieces of cardboard. This was pretty challenging, but the finished picture was worth it.
