We'll see
Headed on a trip soon, will amend this review after. First impression was good and they fit me comfortably. Little concerned about walking on lava rock and them being good for amphibious walking.

Awesome at Boundary Waters
I bought these for a 5 day canoe and camping trip in the Boundary Waters. I should have worn these beforehand to break them in, but didn't and they were still awesome the entire trip. On the 2nd day, I started wearing socks with them, mostly for sediment that was getting inside the shoes and all over my feet. These shoes drained well and I was surprised at how much traction I had with them while portaging. I changed into hiking boots for our long portage, for the ankle support but I am really glad I had these water shoes the rest of the trip. I would definitely recommend them.

expected more from Body Glove
Sand keeps inside the shoe

Wider fit than expected
I wasn’t sure how these would fit as I have wide feet, but there is a fair amount of room. They slightly larger as well. If you have very narrow feet, they will be loose. These are very comfy for climbing over moderate rocks and sharp beach stuff. Perfect show for walking the beach or doing water based activities

The sizing....holy cow, a 9 mens would have fit Sasquatch.
I have a cheapo pair of Body Glove water shoes I bought literally years ago. Pressed them into service recently for kayaking and they didn't hold up very well. But I liked them overall so figured I would throw some cash out there and get a higher end pair. You would think that a Body Glove 9 mens would be a 9 mens. But you would be WRONG. These were SO big they could be issued to the circus for use as clown shoes. Seriously. They were GIGANTIC. I considered trying a smaller size but ultimately went with the NRS Paddle Wetshoes. Love, love, LOVE them. They are basically a wetsuit bootie. Bonus is that since they are a bootie, they also keep the sand out. Something this Body Glove shoe WILL NOT do. I never got to see how the Body Glove shoes did in and around water. So I can't draw a comparison between my self-destructing cheap pair and this particular model. I would hope these would be more durable. Cheapo's insoles literally came apart when they got wet. Not terribly impressive for a water shoe. But again, I liked my cheap version enough to give these a shot, despite quality concerns. At this price point, though, I'd take a pass on these. Between the sizing and all, I don't feel like these are worth the price tag.

Good for injury/stroke recovery (if you're already used to "natural" shoes)
Bought these for my husband, who had a stroke and is relearning how to walk. Excellent choice (and I also recommend good yoga socks)! Comfortable, very grippy, and allow his foot to feel the ground (which is, they say, important for the "rewiring" process). He wears them in the house, on cement, on hiking trails--rarely takes them off. Maybe not a great idea if someone usually wears shoes with lots of padding/arch support/heel rise--but he's more of a barefoot/crocs guy, so they are perfect.

Excellent Water Shoe, 1 minor flaw.
You can hardly tell you are wearing them. I didn't see it in the description, but they are made so you can push the heel in and wear them as slip-on instead of pull-on and perhaps that is the reason for what I see as a minor flaw. The heel loop is tiny. I have small hands and can't even get my little finger into the loop to pull on the shoe, making it somewhat difficult to pull on. It may be small intentionally as it is under your foot if you wear as a slip-on. As stated this is minor but annoying. Once on they are wonderful.
